Razor swings his flamesword at Paladin - Excalibur parrying the flamesword, causing bursts of golden Dragon flames and orange Phoenix flames to burst around the two in a battle of dominance against each other. The flames both attempt to control each other as they constantly clash in the middle - just like Paladin and Razor.
The Dragon flames and Phoenix flames never stopped colliding with each other, and as moments pass by both Paladin and Razor's conflict of flames increasingly gets larger, larger and larger - reaching the point where the flames expand far away from the two of them and leave the Gods and Rulers of Order no choice but to put up almost transparent-like magic barriers around the entire Conclave of Gods, making a bubble.
I can feel his flames... I can feel Razor's flames of hate, Razor's flames of anger... Razor's flames of resentment...
The anger he has for Alpha and the Dragon King is burnt straight into the very deepest parts of his soul; his hatred so strong that it is capable of making him go insane - capable of making him defy all logic.
Razor turns his free hand into a fist made of flames, and immediately he sends it straight for the chest of Paladin. Paladin responds by using his Surging Gauntlet to grab the entirety of the fist - immediately causing an explosion of Dragon flames, Phoenix flames and golden lightning that forces Paladin and Razor to separate from each other - leaving a cloud of flames and lightning slowly disappearing from where they were previously standing.
And when the cloud of lightning disappeared, Paladin noticed Razor staring deep into his soul - his eyes on fire. Paladin's eyes narrow but he doesn't return the favor - instead he turns and looks at the crowd, noticing the magical barrier put in place to protect the Conclave of Gods from their fighting.
Gods and Rulers biting their nails, mouths wide open, and arms crossed or folded - the entire Conclave of Gods was surprised and nervous from the fighting between the Dragon of Order and the Undying Phoenix.
The fighting between me and Razor... is it really that bad?
I haven't noticed - since to me the fighting has been lackluster - but the Gods of Order must be amazed and concerned with what's been happening. So concerned that they made this barrier to protect themselves - and in the process of doing so they made it so we're unable to hear any of them from this side of the barrier.I wonder if they're able to hear us...
I wonder what they're saying about us...
"Do you remember... Dragon King..."
Hmmm?
"Remember what?" I turn to Razor. "What am I supposed to be remembering?"
Razor chuckles as he slowly shakes his head at Paladin. The fact that the Dragon King had forgotten was rather amusing to him.
"It was one thing to fight me all those years... all those damn years, Dragon King..." Razor responds. "But this is on an entirely different level... Claiming ignorance... claiming you know nothing of what occurred between the two of us, between the Dragon Imperium and the Phoenix clan..."
What doesn't he understand?
"I am not Alpha," Paladin responds, "I did not receive his memories, I did not receive any of his previous thoughts or feelings... I have no clue about the relationship you shared with Alpha - the former and true Dragon King, so I honestly--"
"That isn't a sufficient excuse," Razor interrupts.
Razor then throws a flaming ball of fire at Paladin with his free hand - which explodes midair and sends an entire barrage of small flame balls at him. Paladin responds by commanding a golden shieldwall to be formed in front of him - which absorbs every simple hit and impact from the smaller flame balls, small vibrations able to be seen on the shieldwall.
