Taken back to the Capital City, I was surprised to see both me and Lady Saber being teleported back into the strangely empty throne room of the palace, and with Lady Saber still being carried on my back I looked around the room - looking for the Shadowy figure.
I questioned why none of the Royal lords or ladies were in this room, but if I was to guess, they were likely cleared out and taken somewhere else.
After looking around the room for a few moments, I concluded that the Shadowy figure had left both me and Lady Saber here, and travelled back to the New Generation's world.
With the Shadowy figure gone, I couldn't help but think about how dangerous the New Generation were going to be for us, and how difficult it was going to be to deal with them.
If the Shadowy figure was easily able to teleport in and out of the Capital City without any issue, it would be safe to assume that others of the New Generation would also be capable of teleporting in and out of areas without issue... I believe.
That in itself is a rather big issue, since it would mean that their attacks on the Capital City would be truly unpredictable, and they might be able to overwhelm our early responses to their sudden attacks.
More importantly... the Elemental Knights, stronger than the soldiers of the New Dawn, the Royal Military and its fragmented Royal Knights, as well as the many armies of the Royal Houses, they were a problem.
A big problem would be a more accurate way to describe them...
If I was to assume... the only forces who could stand a chance against the Elemental Knights are the Wolves, Demon Zealots, or maybe the Crimson Knights... but even all three of them would have significant trouble against the Elemental Knights, especially if the Elemental Knights are numerous and not small...
And it wouldn't be only the Elemental Knights who would be troublesome, the White Cloaks of the New Generation would no doubt pose trouble for us since they are able to blend into society and go undetected, able to cause significant trouble without anyone knowing until it was too late...
Can't forget the Silver Elves as well, no doubt about it that they are strong themselves and are likely very capable with magic, and they would at least be able to match the New Dawn or the Royal Military in might, being able to fight on fair odds.
At the end of the day, there is no doubt in my mind that the Inquisition and the Kingdom of Orion is in no state to fight the New Generation, and we won't be ready for the New Generation for some time...
Without the Lord Inquisitor, the Kingdom of Orion and the Inquisition stands no chance.
The doors to the throne room then opened, and turning to look at the opened doors I found Captain Cassius and Alexon both walking into the room, both of them seeing Lady Saber and likely assuming that the mission to the New Generation's home was a success.
Little did they know, it wasn't a complete success, and that we were in serious trouble.
"Omega, how did your mission go?" Alexon asked.
The both of them stopped right in front of me, looks of curiosity both being shown on their faces.
If the mission was being determined a success or not by the rescue of Lady Saber, then it was a complete success. However, if the mission being a success or not was determined by getting information of where the home of the New Generation was and how to get there... then it was a complete failure.
"Well... I was taken to the home of the New Generation by the Shadowy figure, but it wasn't like anything I imagined," I replied.
Alexon's eyes narrowed as Captain Cassius crossed his arms, both of them wondering what I meant by it not being anything like I imagined it to be.
