On board the the capital ship of the Grand Navy - a replacement name for the Royal Navy, me, Jingks, Syr, and Admiral Xynova along with the rest of the Grand Navy fleet led by Admiral Xynova rushed straight towards Seaport and the invading Knights of Atlantis - our minds all narrowed and focused on the mission ahead.
Standing at the front of the ship, I spot the silver Atlanteans ships which have created a blockade ahead of us, the blockade being perfectly aimed at our incoming ships as all their cannons were sticking out from their holes - ready to fire.
"You absolutely sure you want to go through with this plan?" Jingks seeks one last confirmation from me. "I'll admit, I was all for it before, but now it looks rather cocky of--"
"Full steam ahead!" I yell at Admiral Xynova.
Admiral Xynova, hands interlocked behind his back, gave a single nod as he stretched out his right hand towards the blue sky.
"All ships," he yells into a blue magical portal in front of his mouth, "full steam ahead! Break through this blockade, and free Seaport!"
"Aye--"
Yells from all around the fleet came, and soon afterwards the cannons of the blockading ships shot forth their cannonballs - the silver balls flying across the sea and straight for the ships.
"Xynova Blessing, Ship Bubble!"
The sounds of the Xynova Blessing magic being commanded echoed throughout the entire fleet, and in response to their chants giant blue hexagonal bubble shields appeared at the front of each of the ships in the fleet - the bubble shields absorbing the impact of the silver cannonballs and taking away all their danger.
Crossing my arms while smirking, I turn to Syr - who looks on with wide and attentive eyes.
"Pay attention Syr - you're about to witness the Inquisition's true fighting skills first hand," I explained. "I suggest finding a good way of defending yourself in the spare time you have here, unless you're able to keep up with us!"
Syr tilts her head. "Why won't I be able to keep up? I'm more than capable of carrying myself around--"
"Listen Syr," I interrupt her, "while you are no doubt a capable woman and fighter, we Inquisitors are on an entirely different level than the normal fighter."
Jingks nods. "Some Knights of Atlantis are likely to jump onboard the ship while we punch through their blockade as we charge straight for the kraken, so make sure you--"
"Do you have anything to defend yourself?" I interrupt Jingks.
Jingks arms cross and he narrows his eyes at me.
"I do..." Syr pulls out a familiar white bow with cyan colored snake-like material wrapping around the bow handle with an etching of "VI" on the side. She then moves and reveals the two white quivers at her sides.
Where have I seen that bow before...?
"I found my old bow in the back of the closet back in sanctuary," Jingks states, "wasn't expecting to find it be tossed in the back of a closet like trash, but no big deal."
Ah... I forgot!
Jingks used to be a bow user awhile ago, so to see his old bow again is a bit of a throwback.
It'll certainly be interesting to see how Syr uses this bow, maybe it'll end up being a perfect weapon for her if she finds the right strategy - personally I've never imagined her as a sword girl.
"It'll be--"
The bells of the fleet ringed loudly, and looking forward I watched as our ship nears the blockading ships of the Atlanteans - panicking ensuing from all over as both the fleet and the blockading ships prepared for what was soon about to happen.
