Sitting inside the Inquisitor Chambers, I watched as the door to the chambers opened, and walking through the open doors was the representative from the Sewell Family, dressed in a completely black dress suit.
The man and I looked at each other for a few moments, acknowledging the presence of the other, waiting for the other to say something. After minutes had come and went, the man walked towards the table - like he owned the place - and sat down in Omega's hair, not caring if he had permission to sit down there or not.
I already am not a fan of this man... And I don't appreciate how he walked in here acting like he owned the place, not bothering to introduce himself and proceeding to sit down in the chair of an Inquisitor without asking permission.
The man likely thought himself to be superior to the Inquisition as well, and I'm not exactly too fond of him taking such an attitude.
"In order for a good conversation to occur between the two of us... Representative, I believe it would be best for you to introduce yourself," I said.
"A conversation is being started right now," he responded. "A conversation started because I walked in without introducing myself, sat down in the chair of the White Raven, and proceeded to wait for you to say something," he finished.
...No fucking shit...
But thanks for pointing out the obvious, Representative Jackass.
"While it did start a conversation, it certainly isn't the type of conversation we should have... for the method you used is starting a bad conversation instead of a good one, Representative," I replied.
The Representative sighed with his non-caring eyes, and placing his elbow on the table he leaned his head against his hand.
Clearly... the Representative did not want to come here, and has no true interest in having any type of interaction with me - likely wanting this meeting to be done with so he could go back to the Spades Empire.
"I don't care if the conversation between us Grand Wizard is a good one or a bad one, for I just need you and the Inquisition to be productive... to the point where I can get what is required of me, so I can leave this ugly and god-awful continent," he replied.
My assumption was correct.
So I have to wonder...
"What could you possibly want from the Inquisition, Representative? Other than giving you the Monarchy - which won't happen - what else was there?"
The Representative chuckled slightly from my response... seemingly for no reason other than what I said being amusing to him.
"Sewell Family wants what is rightfully theirs, Grand Wizard. They want complete control of the Kingdom of Orion, and the Family want a complete and thorough investigation into the death of King Sewell," he stated.
I had assumed previously that they were interested in regaining control of the Kingdom of Orion... and like I said before, they will not be allowed any authority within the Kingdom.
More interesting though... They wanted to do a complete and thorough investigation into the death of KIng Sewell, and I had not thought of such a possibility beforehand.
"The next Monarch of Orion will be determined by a fair and honest election with no interference from the Inquisition, and this is something that we will not change - nor would we ever change in the face of opposition. Sewell Family is allowed to send a candidate to run in the elections, however, even though you could send a candidate... he wouldn't stand a chance... Time remaining and the influence gained by the other candidates deeming it so," I responded.
