Walking into the Saber apartment, I couldn't help but mutter my annoyance with Alexon and how he managed to forget what Lady Saber's message left for him was, and how he managed to forget where Lady Saber was supposed to be.

It was unlike him to forget such things, and even though it was a slight insignificant mistake it was still rather annoying.

Closing the door behind me to the Saber apartment, I found Lady Saber standing in front of me, seemingly waiting for me to arrive.

"Omega, what are you mad about? Also... why are you here?" she asked.

So she heard me mutter annoyance with Alexon, but didn't get the exact idea for why I was mad.

That's a bit embarrassing... but more importantly...

Why is she asking why I'm here?

"Alexon told me to meet you here Lady Saber, he explained to me that you had something you wanted to talk about with me, and I'm a little mad right now because he forgot what you wanted to talk about and forgot where you were going to be," I explained.

Lady Saber tilted her head in obvious confusion, the expression on her face giving me the indication that she had no clue what I was talking about.

"Well... I don't recall ever telling Alexon to send you my way, and I can't think of a single reason for why he would send you my way," she replied.

Huh?

Alexon was never told to send me her way?
So he lied about Lady Saber needing me, supposedly using the excuse that he forgot about what Lady Saber needed from me as an excuse to send me her way...

What the hell is the point behind that?

What motive could he possibly have for sending me Lady Saber's way?

"It doesn't matter why you're here though, Omega, and it doesn't matter that you weren't invited into my apartment," she said.

Oh... well that's rather kind of her to say.

I wonder though...

"And why was that?" I asked.

Lady Saber's face turned a little red from the question, but she maintained composure, despite the fact that my question could be taken multiple ways, and proceeded to smile afterwards.

"Because we're friends, Omega. Friends don't need to worry about having a specific reason to see or speak with each other, and friends are able to walk into each other's apartments without prior invitations," she explained.

Friends?

Just friends?

I couldn't help but disappointingly nod my head in agreeance with what Lady Saber said, for she was right about friends being able to speak with each other without issue, and be able to visit each other with prior invitation.

But I couldn't help but not hide my disappointment with the two of us being just friends...

Obviously... I'd like to be much more than friends at some point...

And when Lady Saber noticed the disappointment of her saying we were just friends on my face, I quickly forced myself to smile to cover up how I felt.

"You know Omega, I am glad that you are here. I do feel safer when I'm around you, but I'm glad you are here... simply because you are here. Without you, I don't think I would've made it back from the place the New Generation was holding me at, I wouldn't have been able to make it out of that bad situation and would've been stuck there for a long time," she explained.
