There were moments of silence as Paladin declared that he wanted to speak with Razor - everyone not named Paladin and Razor anxiously waiting to see Razor's response, waiting to see how he would react to the news. Soon afterwards Razor waves off the woman holding her blade pressed against the neck of Paladin - which surprises her. The woman clenches her teeth and listens to Razor, but her hand was shaking at first as she was hesitant to let Paladin get away - and when she did listen she immediately turned her back to Paladin.

"What do you wish to discuss, Dragon King?"

"I want to know about your sister, I want to know about what happened to her."

The two women that were guarding Violet and Paladin immediately grind their teeth as they hear what he wished to speak about, but soon they left Paladin and Violet to walk the steps up to the Phoenix throne so they could stand next to Razor - Phoenix Templars made of Phoenix flames taking up their olds roles of defense; protecting the sides of the room and guarding the locked doors.

"What specifically do you wish to know?"

What specifically do I wish to know?
"I want to know what happened to her," I say once more. "I want to know what happened to her that led to you hating the Dragon King."

And I thought that was obvious already...

"How could you have forgotten about it?" the women who had a neck at my neck scoffs. "You forgetting about it is disrespectful to Razor and the entire Phoenix clan - it is something you should never be allowed to forget."

"Have you seriously forgotten, Dragon King?" Razor asks.

How many times do I have to tell him....

"I seriously have forgotten Razor," I respond. "Like I said before, the memories of Alpha did not follow me into this life - so I have no clue outside of the accounts of people who explain things to me - about what Alpha did and didn't do."

"The Dragon King could be putting up a front!" the girl who guarded Violet declares. "Putting up a front would very well benefit him, so it is no doubt possible."

"You could be lying--"

"The Dragon King isn't lying," Violet interrupts. "I know first hand that he has not received the memories of the previous Dragon King... or of anyone else... He requires stories told by others to know what his predecessors did, and this is no fault of his--"
"He's pathetic!" the woman who guarded me yells. "In fact, I don't want to hear this any longer... So as the wife of the Phoenix Patriarch, I demand for the Dragon King to be executed!"

And immediately the Phoenix Templars pull out their swords as they prepare to fight Paladin. Violet narrowing her eyes as she watches them while Paladin looks up at Razor - who holds back his templars with a single hand held up

"Dragon King, I'll tell you the story," Razor states, "on the condition that you fully pay attention, and do not drift off into a state of thoughtlessness."

"Agreed."

Razor's wife doesn't hide how surprised she was by the news on her face. However, she quickly contains it as she didn't want to be undisciplined and go against the wish of Razor - but she did show her disagreement with telling Paladin the story with her arms crossed.

Razor nods

"In a time that's been far passed by the centuries that have gone by, there was a war where the Realms of Order and the Realms of Chaos were engaged. A war that can only be described as the most destructive war ever in the history of wars - holy and non," Razor explains. "
