After the meeting between myself, Alexon, and Captain Cassius, I found myself standing back in the desolate throne room, watching as the Royal Military were doing their best to keep the Royal lords and ladies at bay from Captain Cassius, who proudly stood on the elevated platform with a smirk on his face.
Royal Military investigators then started taking away Royal lords and ladies as they continued to protest everything that was happening, the Royal Military soldiers and investigators not caring as they pushed them away from the throne room.
Captain Cassius was pleased with the sight.
But to be honest with you, the sight wasn't exactly pleasing for myself, even with the knowledge being that they were all members of the New Generation.
I didn't like the way they were being treated, and I honestly thought we could've done better than treating them like... dogs.
Even worse, the calls for both myself and Alexon to intervene made the situation even more odd, as the calls were being for the Inquisition to change the stance they were taking in the investigation, and to force the Royal Military to stop.
"The Inquisition will not be doing anything about this, Royal lords and ladies." Captain Cassius declared. "Why? Because the Inquisition is fully behind me on this investigation and everything I'll be pushing for, and will support me every step of the way as I push towards finding out who amongst us is a member of the New Generation as well as the name of the Queen of Elves!"
Interesting enough, Captain Cassius beforehand was wanting to have the Royal Military do little intervention to no intervention at all, so I wonder what changed?
Either way.
The Royal lords and ladies who were actively going against the Inquisition and Royal Military were being stubborn, refusing to give any information at all to either of our groups because of the way they've been treated by us, and also because of the fact that they were members of the New Generation.
They were adamant about not being members of the New Generation, but despite this adamance from them, nothing was going to change.
And because nothing would change, chaos ensued the room with so many things happening at once.
But the chaos around me did not affect me, for already I was having disorganized and cluttered thoughts moving around all in my head, and I was using every since inch of brain matter I had to organize the thoughts back together and to make sense out of it all - to come up with my plan of attack.
What was I thinking about?
I was thinking about Lady Saber, thinking about everything I could do to save Lady Saber from being executed by the New Generation, thoughts that became more and more detailed as I went through every single possible and potential outcome of every single plan I had in mind.In the end of this wormhole I went through, I came up with two plans.
Pathway A, follow the pathway of Captain Cassius for the next few days, and when later contacted by the Shadowy figure again, agree to end the investigation and see if Lady Saber is still alive or not.
Clearly, Pathway A is not preferable, and it is the plan I'm seeking to replace.
Pathway B, get in contact with the Shadowy figure before the end of the investigation into the New Generation by the Inquisition ad Royal Military, and see if there is something that the New Generation can give in addition to the return of Lady Saber so the Inquisition and Royal Military would stop its investigation.
Pathway B would be much, much more preferable to Pathway A.
However, the problem with Pathway B is figuring out what the New Generation can give so the investigation can be concluded with victory being claimed for the Inquisition and Royal Military.
