"Fuck yeah!" Josh cheered, pulling Ads into a hug as they got a win against the bombers. The adrenaline high that was felt after a win was one of the most exhilarating experiences and one that Josh knew would never get old to him.

"Yeah boy." Adam laughed, slapping Josh's back a few times as they listened to the fans singing the song, shaking hands with opponents as they came around. "Are you gonna do it?"

"Yep, just give us a minute." Josh replied as he wrapped an arm around Cody and pulled the younger boy in. "Nice game Flea."

"Thanks Dunks!" Cody yelled, as usual a wide smile on his face as he enjoyed the atmosphere and simply okaying the game. "You guys should probably go get footys to hand out."

"Will do," Josh replied and he and Adam made their way over to grab some small footys to hand out to their fans. Josh made sure to grab two, signing one with his name and putting some other words on the second one. Putting the second in his left hand as he and Adam made their way to the side of the ground that they knew Aubrey would be sitting at.

"I'll give this one to this kid, you go find another." Adam said, stopping a couple meters in front of where Aubrey was standing waving at both boys.

"Mmhmm." Josh said, he moved to one of the little boys who was three people away from Aubrey and handed it to him, taking a photo with him as well as per request, having to take a couple more with the other people that stayed in the hopes they'd get a high five or a photo with some of their favourite players.

"Go now or you'll run out of time." Adam said, pushing Josh away in the hopes that he would be able to distract some of the fans into getting photos with him instead of with Josh.

"Thanks," Josh said and made his way over to Aubrey, when he was right in front of her he made sure to throw the second ball so that it hit her in the head, thinking back to the day that they had first met at Whitten Oval when Bailey took her in.

"Ouch." Aubrey complained, ignoring the looks of the people that were next to her and laughing at her. "What is it?" She looked at him questioningly only for him to motion to the ball. Aubrey looked at it to see in Josh's messy scrawl 'will you be my girlfriend...again? also sorry for hitting you in the head but i thought it would be fun for old times sake.' "You're an idiot." Aubrey said, leaving over the fence to pull him in for a hug. One that Josh gladly accepted.

"So? What's the answer?" Josh asked, it was easy for him when wrapped up in Aubrey's arms, to ignore the rest of the people that were definitely looking and watching what was happening between the pair.

"Yes, I was waiting for you to grow a pair." Aubrey joked, discretely kissing Josh hoping that her hair would hide most of the public display of affection. "That was really cute, thank you."

"Felt like I had to hurry up or I would have lost you. I'll see you in an hour or two, okay?" Josh questioned.

"Yeah, my place is closer so just come to mine." Aubrey said, placing another kiss this time to Josh's cheek, wanting nothing more then to hold him as close as possible and just be in his arms, possibly with more happening if it was up to her. "Go sing the song and tell Ads that stating is rude."

"See you soon." Josh said and waved to the surrounding fans as he made his way back to Ads and the rest of the team who were ready to go down and sing the song. There's not much that feels better then winning but having a win and getting a girlfriend was a pretty great feeling.

"That was really cute." Baz said. "Welcome back to the family. Don't fuck up again or you will be on your way to the bombers and we see how that would have turned out for you." He added pointing up at the scoreboard.

"Sometimes I hate you." Josh said messing with his mullet. "Promise I'll try my best not too, I really don't want to."

By the time Josh got back to Aubrey's place she was in the middle of cooking them both a nice dinner, giving him the opportunity to sneak up on her.

"Smells good." He said after walking lightly into the room, no way he was going to be heard over the music she was playing.

"Holy fuck you scared the shit out of me! I'm breaking up with you." Aubrey said, a hand going up to her heart. "Duck you Josh Dunkley."

"By all means please do, it's been too long." He replied no shame on his response as he spun her around by her hips. "Doesn't seem like such a bad idea does it?"

"While I'm cooking dinner? Sounds like a terrible idea. I know it's hard to control yourself around me, I get that a lot. But I'm sure you'll survive a couple more hours." Aubrey patted his chest.

"I'll do my best."
