It had been a few weeks since shit had hit the fan, Aubrey and Josh still had no idea who had said anything, but regardless they would talk about it and throw around theories every so often when they had free time, just to see if they could figure it out.

It was mid October and the weather was heating up, though living in Melbourne, it was only a little bit. It was warm enough though, that the group decided that they would go out to a restaurant for lunch. They loved eating out together and hadn't done it in a while so when they all found a day that they were free, it was quickly that they all jumped on and agreed to go.

"Hi babe." Mila said as she and Aubrey embraced as Josh and Aubrey arrived to pick up both Mila and Marra, they had agreed to carpool with one another because...well why not. "How are ya?"

"Good, you?" Aubrey asked as they got into the car in the backseat whilst Josh took the drivers seat and Marra got in shotgun. Mila responded positively as Aubrey opened her phone to press play on the music that she had paused when they had momentarily gotten out of the car. "You look cute by the way."

"Aww thanks love." Mila said reaching out to hug Aubrey, knowing that it would piss her off when she didn't let go.

"I hate you sometimes." Aubrey complained as she tried to look in the rear view mirror so that she could fix her hair that Mila definitely messed up.

"Get out of my way!" Josh half yelled, half laughed as he caught sight of his girlfriend in the way of him trying to see behind him, wanting to change lanes so that they wouldn't go past the turn off and end up being late.

"What?" Aubrey asked, but it was to late. Josh rolled his eyes, not that he seemed pissed off at all, mostly just amused as he focused back onto the road so that he could figure out where to turn around and get back on track. "Love you."

"I love you too." Josh replied as they got back on track.

The chatter was loud as usual, when there were so many of them together it was hard to get a silence over the group, it was a good thing that no one desired it. Everyone was quite content with having to talk over three different conversations if they wanted to talk to the person that was just three seats down from them.

"How much longer do you have at school?" Elle questioned, her and Aubrey had gone to get some more drinks for a few of the people at the table.

"Until like mid December and then finally I get the 6ish weeks off." Aubrey said happily. She was always grateful that she got a long break when other people were straight back into work.

"Lucky ducky." Elle said. "Does that mean you won't do a getaway before the boys go back for preseason?" Elle asked, it was always the younger boys going back before Christmas before the main group went back in early January. It was around this point that a lot of people got away to wherever they could for as long as they could.

"Probably not, especially at this time of the year when I only have a little bit longer with my class. Maybe next year."

"That's okay, worst comes to worst we can all have a girl give away while the boys work their asses off at pre season training. Ed is a pain in the ass when it comes to that time of the year." Elle and Aubrey laughed as they both grabbed a tray of drinks each and walked back to their table, trying to figure out who the drinks individually belonged too. By the time they went finally were done and were looking around to find their seats again they had found that multiple people had swapped positions.

"Hey girl." Ebony said as Aubrey took the free seat beside her and beside Baz on the other side. "You look sexy."

"Stop flirting with me." Aubrey flicked her hair back as she took a sip of her cider. "Thanks, you do too. You ready for school on monday?"
