"Nope." Aubrey replied and Josh looked pretty upset at the answer as he had sort of built up the idea that she would say yes. Marcus and Jayden had claimed that she would say yes and that idea had been drilled into his mind. Despite all of the self doubt, he still had a glimpse of hope that she would say yes.

"That's okay, I hope this doesn't ruin anything." Josh smiled. "I must have read this all wrong."

"Josh, I'm kidding. How could you read it wrong? We've made out before." Aubrey laughed. "The answer is yes." She leaned forwards and hugged him.

"I hate you so much, I'm breaking up with you." Josh joked and Aubrey pushed him. "I was about to go down and murder the two idiots down stairs."

"Why's that?"

"They promised me that you'd say yes and I thought that they were just making fun of me."

"You're an idiot."

The pair spend the rest of the evening up on the roof, hugging under one of the fluffy blankets that Josh has bought up onto the roof for them to share. Aubrey lay her head on his shoulder and they watched the ocean waved until they were only illuminated by the shining of the moon and the few lights of the neighbours inside the house. It was everything that Aubrey could have wished for and more, she was finally happy and genuinely enjoying where her crazy life had taken her to.

"Why do we have to go home?" Aubrey complained as she looked out of the window, watching the bridge to the island disappear behind her. "I say you all quit your careers and we move down here together and live happily ever after."

"I just don't think that's a plausible idea." Marcus spoke from the passenger seat. "Though it does have it's benefits."

"We can here another time, maybe next year or something." Jayden said and they all laughed when Aubrey huffed and crossed her arms. "It can be like a yearly thing."

"So I have to celebrate my one year anniversary with you guys?" Josh asked.

"We've been dating for a lot longer then the few days that you decided to cheat on me officially." Marcus pointed out. "You've been so loyal to me for the past like four years, it just sort of feels like you gave up on us. And for what? That...thing?"

"I hate you so much, like a lot." Aubrey said and flipped him the bird which he promptly returned with a sarcastic smile. "Can I take a nap, I didn't sleep well last night."

"We all know why," Jayden winked through the rear view mirror.

"That's just not true, if you must know I was up all night re-watching the 100." Aubrey said matter of factly. "Plus we wouldn't be doing shit like that with you guys around. I may dislike you both more then you could ever understand but I do have some manners."

"Or it's just the fact that you wouldn't want them to tell Baz about it." Josh pointed out and the two boys at the front smiled because they knew damn well that they would do exactly that.

"If you guys make up any fake rumours I will knock you into next year, don't under estimate my strength just because I'm small." Aubrey warned them.

"Whatever you say Aubs."

"Aubrey Dunkley. I just don't know how I feel about it yet." Logan sounded the name out a few times as her and Aubrey were talking on the phone, they had both gotten back from their weeks away and we're catching up on everything that had gone on.

"Oh shut up, when are you two going to get married anyways." Aubrey diverted the attention from being on her having suffered enough teasing from Marcus band Jayden in person.

"Not sure yet, we've barely started planning. Us being engaged is enough for now and has been enough for a few weeks. Our day's are a bit preoccupied by a certain cutie." Logan said and kissed her daughters cheek, Lola was resting on her mother's stomach as they both lay down.

"Well if you ever need to get rid of the little cutie then it's best to remember that I love her to bits and will steal her from you any day."

"Jason doesn't want you getting attached, he gets jealous that sometimes Lola starts begging for 'Auby' when he's trying to give her cuddles." Logan laughed and Aubrey's heart basically melted.

"Aunty Auby is a fan favourite." Aubrey said cockily and they both chuckled.

"Aubrey, we need to talk." Bailey had walked into the room and stole Aubrey's phone from her. "Hey Logan, she'll call you back later." He hung up the call and handed the phone back to her.

"Yes Bazzie bear?" Aubrey questioned though she pretty much knew exactly where the conversation was about to go.

"I can't believe you have a boyfriend now," he laughed and ruffled his older sisters hair. "We can so go on double dates."

"So you're not mad?" Aubrey questioned and looked at him confused, for someone who made such a big deal about them dating he seemed pretty excited about it.

"I knew I was never going to be able to stop you, also I had a very stern talking to Josh and we've come to certain agreements that were both happy with. So now all that's left is to piss you off about it as much as possible."

"There are no words in this universe to describe how much I want to kill you sometimes."
