Aubrey smiled to herself as she pulled up to her family household and prepared to surprise her parents and younger brother who she hadn't seen in just over a year due to her studying and travelling in Ireland for a long period of time. Aubrey was beyond ready to see them and experience a lot of the things that she had missed during her time away, a very important one being the successful debut season of her younger brother, Bailey Smith.

"Are you ready?" Mila, Aubrey's long time best friend, questioned as they both got out of the car and started the small walk towards the front door. Aubrey didn't really have any words to express her excitement so she simply nodded and sent a bright smile in her best friends direction. "Well what are you waiting for? Knock on the door," Mila said as she held up her phone and pointed it at Aubrey, ready to catch the reaction of the whole family, so that they could look back at the memory fondly.

"I got this," Aubrey took a deep breath and raised her fist to the door, knocking so that the inhabitants of the house were aware that someone was waiting.

"Coming!" Aubrey heard her mums voice float through the door and she felt her heart rate jump up. The woman pulled open the door and let out a very audible gasp.

"Hey mama." Aubrey greeted and was pulled into an extremely tight embrace. "I missed you."

"What're you doing here?!" Aubrey laughed at her mums question and just hugged her tightly, they could talk about all of that later. "Nick, Bailey!" Aubrey and Mila followed Sinead into the house.

"What?" Aubrey perked up when she heard her little brothers voice loudly through the house.

"Don't you want to see me?" She called back and grinned as loud footsteps were heard and then arms wrapped around her torso and spun her around, she could practically feel him shaking from excitement which wasn't too far from how she was feeling herself. There was something so special about the pair reuniting in a way that they hadn't for too long. "I missed you too Baz."

"What are you doing here?" He asked and just held Aubrey close to him, the siblings had always been close and they still managed to talk to one another every day despite the time zone differences and commitments that they both were faced with.

"Mila and I decided to come home, we're both done with being alone." Aubrey explained and ran a hand through Bailey's mullet that had grown a considerable amount since she had last seen him. "This is impressive."

"Thanks." He smiled. "I missed you so fucking much."

"Language." Their dad reminded Bailey and pushed him away so that he could pull his daughter in for a very tight and overdue hug. "I missed you beautiful."

"Missed you too dad."

"And we've all missed you as well, Mila."

"I know."

Bailey and Aubrey were the last two awake, they both sat on the same couch talking about seemingly anything and everything. For siblings that had always been so close, it had possibly been the hardest thing about being away from home, for Aubrey at least. She missed her little brother a lot.

"You have to come meet all of the boys." Bailey begged and flashed a look at his sister that she had never been able to resist before, he formed a frown and did his best to act upset.

"You know how I feel about, well...people." Aubrey pointed out, while Bailey was a very outgoing person, Aubrey was definitely not that. Opposites they were, in that regard for the most part. Not around people that she didn't know, there would be a lot of those at the place that Bailey wanted her to go.

"Aubs, you already missed so much of my career. Those people are like my second family and I really want you to meet them." Bailey sighed, definitely trying to guilt trip her. They both knew it and it would work, they both knew that too.

"Okay fine, but please not too many people at once." Aubrey gave in resulting in a small cheer from Bailey. "Don't make me regret this, I don't want to waste any of my life."

"Don't be dramatic, you'll have an awesome time. I already know it." Bailey reaches over to ruffle his sisters hair, something she certainly didn't miss. "We should go to bed, you have to be up first thing tomorrow morning."

"What time does training start?" Aubrey raised an eyebrow in questioning.

"Like nine." Bailey grinned and got off of the couch. "I'll wake you up though, no need to worry about an alarm or anything."

"Come here." Aubrey also stood up and pulled him in for a hug, it was still insane that they were back together after so long. Aubrey was afraid that she may be dreaming that they were really together, it wouldn't be the first time.

"Good night Aubs, love you."

"Night little. Love you too." Aubrey said despite the fact that he was much taller then her, it was just a nickname that had stuck since childhood, Aubrey liked it a lot more since she knew that Bailey had never liked it.
