Aubrey held onto Josh like a koala as he carried her around trying to get things done around the house though she was exhausted from what had been a long day of marking tests for maths that her students had been waiting on for a little bit too long, though they wouldn't get the results it would help her to create some kind of basis as to what to teach next. He had been holding her for far too long but neither of them looked like letting go anytime soon.
"You okay there?" Josh asked kissing her head as he mixed some of the dinner that he was in charge of cooking. "You seem absolutely shot."
"I'm great, very comfortable and you smell great just so you know." She stated matter of factly burying her head deeper in his chest. "Don't put me down."
"Wasn't planning on it don't worry, mum said that she and Lara want to have a breakfast with you on the day of the parade I told them that you could do it if you don't mind," Josh said, it had slipped his mind until now.
"Okay, you be busy being a celebrity and all that." Aubrey laughed. "To be honest though I like them more then I like you so I'm very excited."
"Sometimes I wonder why I'm dating you but like other times I get it, right now is not one of the times that I get it." He commented, then held up a spoon so that she could taste the soup that he had been making. "Is it good?"
"Scrumptious." Aubrey commented finally getting down and eagerly going to grab two bowls so that they could eat dinner. "Thank you for dinner, Dunkley."
"Anytime Smith."

"How excited are we for tomorrow?" Aubrey questioned as she sipped her juice, sitting next to Lara and opposite Lisa. They had already been eating for about half an hour and since they wee all finished were now just having a nice bit of chit chat to catch up on what they may have missed in life.
"Unable to contain it, just bursting at the seams." Lara said though her voice was as flat as ever. "I am actually excited, it'll be so cool if her gets to win another."
"Fingers crossed for him," Lisa agreed as she was sipping slowly at her coffee, just enjoying spending some time with her girls whom she adored.
