The four boys, Josh, Marcus, Laith and Bailey were all sitting on the couches quite comfortably as Aubrey was sprawled across the ground, all of them watching the TV as a movie played. Aubrey had only just started to pay attention as her gaze was mostly fixed to her phone as the girls group chat went off about the instagram post that she had previously made.

"Can you shut that thing up?" Bailey said and Aubrey hummed and muted her phone as to not disturb the movie anymore then she already had. "Thanks squirt."

"Have I ever mentioned how much I hate you?" Aubrey questioned which made the three people that weren't a part of the Smith family, groan in annoyance. The fighting of the pair had been endless ever since Aubrey had returned and it showed no signs of slowing down whatsoever.

"Only a hundred times in the past hour." Marcus said and reached over to slap the back of Bailey's head, somewhat lightly, though it was evident that it wasn't quite that as the blonde let out a small 'ouch.' "Leave your sister alone."

"Yeah Bailey." Aubrey laughed and opened the messages that were continuing to come in on her phone, only now there was no buzz for every message that came through.

It reached midnight and all of the boys dragged themselves off of the couch knowing that it would be their only day off for the week the day after and they would most likely sleep through most of it. Laith was the first to leave, thanking the Smith's for their hospitality and hugging everyone to say bye.

"Now that he's gone let's get this party started." Marcus joked and raised his cup of water up to the roof.

"I haven't had a drink in so long." Aubrey nodded to show her agreement at the idea of a fun night on the gas. "I'm struggling."

"Alcoholic." Bailey coughed as he said the word and received a glare from his sister, one that all of his teammates were staring to become accustomed to as he seemed to be on the end of her harsh glance at least three times an hour.

"Boy, don't act like we don't remember your 18th birthday or all of the times that I had to cover for you when you used to go out in year 12." Aubrey shook her head as Bailey denied all of the accusations.

"I knew you were allergic to authority." Josh laughed and ruffled the mullet.

"Aubrey was just such a perfect child and student. She never had any fun so anything that I did that a normal human being would also do is considered like the worst thing ever."

"I had plenty of fun Baz, none of it illegal or unnecessary."

"You guys really are something different," Josh chuckled at the siblings. "I better get home before Lara freaks out."

"Girlfriend?" Aubrey questioned with a teasing glint in her eyes, she was ready to start making fun of him if that was the case.

"Sister actually, I live with my brother and sister." Josh replied and raised an eyebrow at the girl. "You jealous or something?"

"Yes Josh, my heart is forever yours and I am completely and utterly infatuated with you." Aubrey dramatically bought her palm up to her forehead to appear as a damsel in distress.

"You better fucking not be." Bailey cut in and pulled Josh away from his big sister. "The stallion wants to take you home now." He said, meaning Marcus who had acquired the nickname from his coach who had a large soft spot for the current captain.

"Alright, I'll see you the day after tomorrow." Josh shook Baileys hand. "See you round, Aubs."

"Bye." Aubrey waved and both Josh and Marcus left the Smith house

"I'm gonna go to bed." Aubrey spoke up after the siblings spent an extra half an hour downstairs, enjoying each other's company. "See you tomorrow morning, or at lunch time."

"That sounds more likely." Bailey laughed and kissed the top of Aubrey's forehead, this was a side of himself that was typically kept in private. He was more of the life of the party to everyone else, but behind closed doors he cared about his family immensely and wasn't shy about showing it.

"Night." Aubrey walked upstairs and begun her face routine, thinking over her journey in the past year. From moving to Ireland and becoming independent, all the way to moving back after getting her heart broken and ultimately finding who she truly was. Aubrey was able to fall asleep knowing that she was proud of how far she had come in her self growth and self love.
