"Mila texted me." Bailey announced his presence, sitting down opposite Aubrey who nodded at him not exactly knowing what to say in reply. "She said that we needed to talk."

"Well I think we do." Aubrey nodded and set down her phone. "You have to stop ignoring me Baz."

"I'm not ignoring you," he denied though it was very obvious that he had been ignoring her.

"Bailey stop lying to me. I'm sorry, I know that this is exactly what you didn't want to happen between me and Josh. I just want you to know that I never wanted this to happen. I just wish that I was your first option and that you didn't choose Josh's side without talking to me. I've lost pretty much everyone that I've gotten close to since I've gotten back, I can't even spend time in the group that we used to and you won't even hear me out." Aubrey ranted, she watched as Bailey sighed and looked down guiltily.

"You cheated on him, it wouldn't be fair to him if I just sided with you and disregarded everything that happened." Bailey tried to defend himself.

"We got past that accusation, Josh and I worked through it and that's not the issue anymore. I'm not saying you have to side with one of us, I just wish you had valued our relationship and thought about me for a second there." Aubrey was close to giving up when Bailey slid down beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"I'm sorry Aubs, I love you and I didn't want to make you feel so alone. I just felt like I needed to be there for Josh as well." Bailey sighed after having such a quick change of heart, he very much treated Aubrey as if she was the younger sibling and for that reason he always wanted to protect her and make sure that she was happy. He had been failing at doing so a lot lately.

"It's okay Baz, I love you too."

So the siblings were reunited and going as well as ever, they were able to get over their slight hiccup rather quickly as they had always been able to. Being the only two kids in the house when they were younger meant that they only had each other and would have to learn to get over arguments rather quickly as to not end up being lonely for hours on end. Some would say that it's just how siblings work.

"I won't stand for it anymore." Logan huffed and crossed her arms, Jason watching on with an amused smile as he bounced Lola on his hip and just silently admired his fired up wife. "They just need to clear up any animosity and move on from the past. No couple had an easy ride, love isn't easy but right now they're taking the easy way out."

"Maybe you should actually communicate this with one of them instead of ranting to us and accomplishing nothing. Just an idea." Jason shrugged. Logan laughed sarcastically and sent him a glare that he payed no mind to whatsoever, it wasn't like she was frustrated because of him anyway.

"Like I know they're both trying to act fine without each other but they're not. I was kind of hoping that maybe you would talk to Josh so I don't have to. If I do it, it makes it seem like I'm only doing it because Aubrey wants me to."

"I'll see what I can do, but you might have to give me a while I'll only say something if she comes up in normal conversation so it doesn't seem like I'm forcing anything." Jason said and Logan nodded, agreeing that it was good enough as she would also have to get through to Aubrey who could be stubborn at the best of times. "For now how about we relax and go give this cheeky monkey a bath?"

"Sounds good to me." Logan replied and they both made their way to the bathroom with a giggling Lola wrapped up in her fathers arms, smiling up at him with eyes that shone only with adoration.
