Chloe, Mila and Aubrey sat on the second level of Marvel stadium and watched as the boys warmed up. Aubrey laughed as her brother and Josh started kicking the ball together and Bailey kicked it off the side of the boot, far away from the boy opposite him.

"Why does Bailey even make the team?" Aubrey laughed as she watched the boy bend over in laughter. "I'm so confused."

"You know Bailey Smith?" A young girls voice cut into the conversation as she poked Aubrey's back gently, she looked about fifteen and her brown eyes were bright and happy. "Are you his girlfriend?"

"Actually no," Aubrey chuckled and the girl raised her eyebrow in confusion. "That's my brother." She explained.

"Then this is really awkward." The young girl laughed and tucked some brown hair behind her ear. "I'm Sophie, sorry I made this awkward."

"That's okay, I'm Aubrey." Sophie and Aubrey shook her hand. "Who do you know to be up here?" It was the bulldogs area for family and friends which made Aubrey a little bit nosey.

"Josh Dunkley is my cousin." Sophie smiled and looked out at the field. "Who are all of you guys?" Sophie questioned looking at the tow other girls. "Do you know my cousin?"

"I'm number 27s girlfriend." Chloe flashed a smile at the younger girl and pointed to the badge that she wore on her shirt that adorned the photo of her boyfriend of just over one year.

"I'm just her best friend." Mila chuckled and lazily pointed at her best friend who smiled widely.

"And you love knowing me."

"I use you to get here." Mila replied as a joke. "Also to answer your question Soph, we know your cousin quite well. Especially Aubrey here."

"Why's that?" Sophie questioned and tucked some of her hair behind her ear as the boys got into a last huddle before the game started.

"We're friends, these idiots will think something different." Aubrey rolled her eyes and pointed to her smirking friends. "I promise you I'm not dating your cousin."

"Too bad, he's really lonely." Sophie giggled and moved into the seat beside the girls, leaving her parents to talk to all of the other family members that were sitting with them.

Sophie sat with the girls the whole time leaving Aubrey with a smile, it reminded her of her and her cousins and how close they used to be. Aubrey and Bailey were amongst the older of the cousins, having one little cousin that was much younger then them who really was their little sister, before they all moved away. Sophie reminded her of Katie a lot and she loved that.

Aubrey watched from the side of the room as all of the family and friends in the rooms greeted their relations and congratulated them on the win, the fans watched happily at the prospect of possibly meeting some of their idols in just a few short minutes and Aubrey simply soaked it all up. It was a feeling that she couldn't quite explain very well, she didn't often romanticise her life but sometimes you needed to, to understand how important some things are and how much they mean to you individually.
Aubrey had moped around for a long time, even now having doubts in the back of her mind because of her past but as she looked around she allowed herself to let the emotions over power her. The happiness that everyone wore on their faces, the loyal and dedicated supporters who made the sport as incredible as everyone viewed it to be.

"Should I dare interrupt you?" Josh's voice cut Aubrey out of her thoughts and she pulled him in for an embrace.

"You played awesome today." She smiled as his arms pulled her closer, she allowed herself to let the comforting hug calm her down. She felt insanely comfortable. "I met your little cousin today."

"Which one?" Josh questioned as the pair came away from the embrace, he hadn't known that any of his family members were at the game. "No one told me that they were coming."

"That's because we wanted to surprise you." Josh and Aubrey turned around and saw Sophie smirking at them, she now knew what Chloe and Mila were insinuating about Josh and Aubrey's relationship or supposed lack there of.

"Soph!" Josh picked the girl up and spun her around, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead and Aubrey smiled at the sight. "I missed you."

"I've missed you too. Good job out there Joshy." Sophie said. "But do you really need to pick me up and spin me around while you're sweaty as fuck?"

"You know you love it." Josh laughed at the scoff on his baby cousins feature. "So you two met?"

"Mmhmm, Sophie was telling us all about the Christmas' and stuff that you've spent together." Aubrey smirked and raised an eyebrow remembering some of the funny things that she had been told.

"Shut the fuck up, no you didn't." Josh smiled uncomfortably knowing that he had done some pretty embarrassing stuff in all of the times that the family had spent together. "Please tell me you didn't."

"I don't ever want to lie to you Joshy." Sophie laughed and patted his shoulder. "I'm going to find my mum and dad, we'll see you in a little bit. We're having dinner with you, Lara and Kyle."

"Please tell me you didn't hear anything to bad." Josh looked at Aubrey hopefully and she just smirked wickedly.

"Something about spider-man boxers and dancing to Justin Bieber." Aubrey kissed the boys cheek as she walked away to find her brother.
