"Can we just forget about it?" Aubrey asked and both Tara and Chloe nodded eagerly, they had both apologised for the actions of the day before and were now hoping that everything would now go back to normal between them, Chloe and Tara had promised not to bring it back up, well unless they really needed to. "Cool, we better get going before we're late for the game."
"Where are we sitting this time?" Chloe questioned as she pinned the badge that had Pat on it to her scarf that was hanging around her neck.
"Like second row back, got sick of the second level." Tara explained and Chloe nodded in satisfaction.
"Do you think then they'll hear us scream loudly?" Aubrey questioned and grinned, knowing that she would definitely be screaming at the top of her lungs. She just liked to have fun at games, because why not.
"You're insane." Chloe shook her head, though it wasn't in a negative way.
"It's what people love the most about me."
"If you say so."

The sun was shining down on the group of girls as they all sat together and watched the game, Aubrey felt that she was possibly annoying some of the other people around them with all of their talking and laughing. Aubrey cheered with the rest as Mitch Wallis scored a goal and increased their lead.
"God I love winning," Chloe said as she waved her scarf around making Aubrey burst out laughing. "What?"
"I don't even know." Aubrey replied and started laughing again, she didn't notice the people behind her giving her exasperated looks. They were considering taping her on the shoulder and telling her to be quiet but ultimately seemed to decide against it.
"I'm just saying, Bailey looks so good while he's playing." Tara spoke up as she watched her boyfriend make his way back to the centre square. She laughed at the disgusted look on Aubrey's face and decided to play into it and annoy her more. "Maybe I just like seeing him look all sweaty and shit like that if you know what I mean."
"Don't talk about him like that when I'm around ever again. Anyone else I don't care about, but you leave my brother out of it." They all laughed as the game resumed and they turned their attention back to it momentarily.
"Speaking of things, how was it last night?" Chloe asked suggestively and looked at Aubrey curiously.
"It was nice, we passed out very quickly and slept. I wasn't exactly in the best mood last night anyways." She shrugged and the topic of conversation was quickly dropped after that, none of them feeling to keen to talk about their litter argument.

"She's being stupid right?" Josh asked as they sat side by side on the plane ride home. It had been a day since the game and the girls, as promised had gone back to their hotel and had a very fun night. "You wouldn't do that to me?"
"Josh." Aubrey sighed and looked him dead in the eyes. "I'm not some bitch who would take advantage of you, I know what that feels like and I would much rather crush your heart by walking out then crush it by you walking in and seeing me with some other guy. If there is one thing that you never have to worry about when it comes to our relationship it's me cheating on you." Aubrey offered him her pinky, a sign that she had become very fond of and he returned the gesture. Once this pinkies untangled he gently pulled her hand to his lips and kissed it gently.
"I thought so but I had to be sure, I'm sorry if you thought that meant that I didn't trust you."
"I'd do the same, don't worry about it." Aubrey reassures the boy and he nodded feeling at ease, though if he had hindsight maybe he shouldn't have been so quick to take her word.
He didn't know at that time what would happen in the future, it was quite impossible for him to be able to know. This wasn't some magical land where he could go to the future, so he put his trust in her and decided that he would let it play out. Josh was willing to give her his heart and his only hope was that she could and would do the same and not betray his trust in any way. Trust, something Josh was relying on so so heavily. The problem with this though was that it can take days, weeks, months, even years to build up but it can be completely broken in a few simple seconds if betrayed in the right way. Josh was crossing his fingers in the hopes that their trust would continue to grow, but who was to know what would happen in the next few weeks?
