"You're going to have to sit at our table aren't you?" Bailey pouted as he and Aubrey spoke about the night that would happen in a few weeks time. Aubrey nodded looking amused. "I just can't escape you."
"I wasn't home for a few days and you were whining that you missed me."
"I wasn't whining nor did I miss you, I was just speaking on behalf of our parents." He denied and crossed his arms. "Don't worry I don't enjoy your company that much."
"How great is it that I'm dating someone that you see pretty much everyday."
"Yeah its so good, it's like you're everywhere I go." Bailey complained, he pulled himself up so that he was sitting on the counter and started eating an apple. "Have you spoken to Mila any time lately?"
"Nah, I guess it wasn't meant to be forever." Aubrey replied, her tone surprisingly dismissive. "I'm okay, you don't have to worry about it." Aubrey stated when she saw Bailey's worried look. "I swear."
"Good, she was a bitch anyways."
"She was actually a really good friend and you know that, you don't have to hold onto people if they don't do the same thing back. Maybe one day we'll be friends again but its all good."
"You're way too mature. Its like you're no fun anymore."
"Do you think I'd be able to sell you online for a different brother?" Aubrey pondered the idea. "Who am I kidding you have hundreds of thirsty thirteen year olds that would gladly buy you if it was an option."
"They scare me to be honest."
"Same."

"Aubrey wake up! Your phone beeped once." Bailey yelled in his sisters ear, she had fallen asleep whilst they were meant to be watching a movie, just like she promised that she wouldn't so he didn't feel guilty about waking her up.
"I hate you so much." Aubrey spoke though Bailey barely understood her as she yawned through her speech, before rolling over and picking up her phone that had a few different notifications, one from a certain brunette boy that lived in Queensland.

"So Wil's coming to the brownlow." Aubrey said as she happily put her phone down and smiled at her brother, though he didn't look quite as excited as she did. "Don't give me that look."
"I said nothing, my mouth is shut Aubs." Bailey put his hands up in surrender. "Just don't be an idiot."
"I swear to god it's not like that."
"I believe you and I trust you. I don't know anything about this Wil dude, for all I know he's not to be trusted."
"He can be."

Josh's hands made their way to Aubrey's hair and he ran this hand through it gently, she smiled at the feeling of him softly breaking up all of the small knots in her hair. She was pretty much half asleep and she was completely at peace with her life.
"Babe?" Josh mumbled and although Aubrey could hear him she simply had no intentions of replying to him as her head felt heavy and moving her mouth was the last thing that she wanted to do. So she kept her eyelids clasped closed and just enjoyed the feeling that she was experiencing. "I wish I was confident enough to tell you how much I love you." Aubrey was suddenly awake and she sat up straight hitting her forehead against Josh's.
"Ow, fuck." She groaned and her hand reached up to hold her forehead, though it didn't help with the pain. She looked over at Josh who was sound exactly the same.
"That hurt like a bitch, I didn't mean to scare you by saying that. I thought that you couldn't hear it and it made it a lot easier to say, if I knew you were awake I'd wait until it was more...romantic?"
"Having everything done at the perfect moment isn't always the most memorable." Aubrey sighed and then leaned up to kiss him. "For what it's worth, I love you too."
"I..." Josh trailed off as he threw his head back and chuckled lightly. "How did I become so lucky?"
"I'm just surprised that someone hadn't already gotten you." Aubrey moved so that she was sitting on Josh's lap, her hands brushed some of his hair out of his eyes and took a deep breath.
"You're beautiful Aubrey." Josh muttered out, his voice coming out breathy and nervous as their eyes never left the others.
