Aubrey was doing the only thing that she could think of, ignore every bad thing that was going on in her life. She busied herself with trying to find full time work and working on making new friends that didn't necessarily know Josh as it seemed that all of the friends that she made since moving back to Melbourne also knew him. It made things a little awkward as they had run into one another a fair few times since the...break up? That and the fact that a few people were a little bit upset about what she had done with Wil, her brother very much being one of those people. Her and Bailey rarely spoke at home, it got quite tense at some points that's for sure.

"Are you alright?" Logan asked, walking into Aubrey's room with Lola in her arms. Aubrey was hanging off of her bed upside down, on her phone.

"Never better." Aubrey replied and giggled as Lola crawled and hugged Aubrey's face. "I might just steal your daughter one of these days."

"That can be organised, but I'd prefer if you used the word borrow." Logan joked as she took a seat on the edge of the bed, watching the two girls interact with a smile on her face.

"I'll be honest, I'm craving some meat pies right now." Aubrey admitted as she lifted her hand slightly to rub her stomach gently.

"We could go to a bakery or something if you really want." Logan suggested and just like that the plans were made to head to the closest bakery so that Aubrey could get her beloved food. "But when we go we are talking about how you really feel."

"But feelings bring down everyone'd mood."

"Bottling up your feelings only hurt you more, I'm sure I'll manage hearing about how you feel. Believe it or not I actually want to know." Logan made it obvious that she wasn't going to be taking no for an answer.

Aubrey didn't want to trouble anyone with what she was really feeling, she preferred to keep things to herself and allow those around her to not worry about her too much. Aubrey would much rather see those around her be happy instead of herself, though this did sometimes make it harder on herself, she had mastered it quite well over the years of her life. Usually Mila couldn't even get it out of her but it was nice to have someone as determined as Logan in her life that was going to get whatever answers she wanted no matter what.

Josh on the other hand had gotten much more involved at the club and with the boys, where a few weeks ago he would have been at home watching a movie or simply hanging out with Aubrey, he was now making plans with the boys and keeping himself busy with small bits of extra training, just enough to get an edge but not overwork himself. A few people ended up being cautious around him in fear of setting him off, clearly they were the people that heard Aubrey's side of the story about how mad they had both gotten, he preferred to gloss over the real details.

"You should come over tonight." Marcus suggested, shaking his head as his hair had just come out of the iconic man bun that he wore to keep his longish hair out of his face. "I think Caleb is coming as well."

"What time?"

"Six thirty maybe, if you really want you know you can come earlier then that."

"Alright bet, are we just going to have dinner?" Josh asked and Marcus hummed agreeing with him.

"Might have a few cheeky beers depending on how the night plays out. No more mention of Aubrey and that situation." Marcus said, though he meant it as a joke there was a little bit of an accusing tone in his voice.

"Don't worry, I think I've talked about it all enough. I'll be all yours tonight." Josh laughed along with Marcus, understanding where the boy was coming from.

See Josh was probably the opposite of Aubrey, in the sense that all he wanted to talk it out and make sure that he got it out so that he could just move on and try to put it all behind him and make sure that his life continued not constantly having to be reminded and thinking about the things that had gone wrong. It annoyed his friends a bit at the beginning but at least it didn't extend for a long period of time, at least not in front of everyone else.

"Do you think you guys are done forever or would you consider giving him another chance if he also gave you one?" Logan asked, she hadn't gotten any food from the bakery and was instead taking a sip of her latte.

"He can't try and control my life like he did, Josh doesn't get to choose who I'm friends with. Not ever." Aubrey replied not at all answering the question.

"Fair enough, now do you want to not avoid the question and actually answer it for me?"

"If I wanted to I probably would have, at this point I don't know where we sit in that regard. Maybe time apart is the best decision for the both of us right now?" Aubrey said sounding very unsure.

"You said that you thought you were heading in the right direction."

"I thought we were, maybe the lack of communication should have been a sign that we were on a different page." Aubrey shrugged and took a sad bite of her pie.

"Or maybe he was just full of emotions because of what happened and he wasn't thinking straight when he made the decision." Logan offered.

"It's been three weeks, if that happened then you'd think he would have figured it out by now."

"You guys are both a bit too proud to go back and apologise to the other right now, I'm not saying that you have to even consider taking him back I just know how happy you were together. But, since you have the option you should just take the time to grow." Logan spoke.

"Thanks for the wise word oh wise one."

"You're an idiot."
