Sinead, Nick, Lola and Aubrey were sitting down at the dining room table as Marcus served everyone, though Lola wasn't served as Aubrey said that she would feed the little girl afterwards.
"We didn't know that you would be here." Sinead smiled at Marcus and shared a look with her daughter, Aubrey knew exactly what she was trying to say but that was definitely not the case. "When did you get here?"
"Not long after Bailey left, Aubrey wanted some help with this cheeky monkey and clearly I'm the most responsible." The Italian joked smoothly and took his seat beside Aubrey at the table.
"Thats very sweet of you." Aubrey rolled her eyes at her mums statement and shook her head. "When were you going to tell us that you were together?" Sinead whispered to Aubrey as Marcus and Nick broke into their own conversation.
"Mum, no. He's literally just a friend." Aubrey took a bite of her slice of pizza and shook her head. "Please just shut up."
"Okay, if you say so." Sinead smirked at Aubrey who sighed knowing that her mum was never going to let it go, she was always like that with relationship even if they didn't exist, always wanting the best for her children."So Marcus, hows the footy going for the team?" Nick asked the Italian 'stallion' who was sitting opposite of him. "Bailey doesn't really give me much when he gets home from training."
"Going well, we're hoping to do a bit better this year," he smiled and took a bite of his food. "I did such a good job, maybe I'll be a chef instead."
"That's just not true." Aubrey shook her head and glared at the boy. "Don't even try."
"You're just jealous of my skills." Marcus smiled and snapped his fingers at the girl. "Just admit it girl."
"Shut the fuck up, you made pizza and it was store bought. I would have thought your Italian ass would be against that." Aubrey giggled and as she finished her pizza she grabbed the food that she had previously made for baby Lola.
"You should watch your language," Sinead sent a harsh glance at Aubrey and then looked at Lola. "Wouldn't want her to be hearing the word and then start saying that in front of her parents."
"She hasn't even said a proper word yet, I think we should be okay." Aubrey rolled her eyes but ultimately decided that she would watch her mouth around the baby. "Lola are you ready for food?" The young girl giggled and clapped her hands excitedly.
"When are you going to be a mummy?" Sinead questioned as she watched her daughter with a smile on her face. "We want grandkids."
"No we don't, not quite yet." Nick said, being the typical overprotective father of his one and only daughter. "You take your sweet time."
"When I settle down mum, I'm not in any rush." Aubrey said as Lola took a mouthful from the spoon that was being bought up to her mouth.
"You're getting old now." Marcus joked even though he was older then the girl. "Might want to get a move on at some point."
"You can go home now, it was nice to have you and you were great with Lola. Bye bye now."~~~
Sinead, Nick and Aubrey all sat together in the lounge, Marcus had left about half an hour ago and Lola was upstairs having a little nap after she ate her dinner.
"He's very attractive." Sinead spoke up. "Don't you think, Aubs?""Mum, no. He's a close friend, you better just leave it before Bailey hears this and thinks that something is actually up between us." Aubrey rolled her eyes.
"Okay, okay. I wouldn't be mad if you brought him home and said that you were together." Sinead winked.
"Do you know what time Bailey is supposed to be home?" Nick asked his daughter and Aubrey shrugged. "Do you mind waiting up for him? Just to make sure that he's okay."
"Don't worry, I got it." Aubrey smiled though she was absolutely exhausted, "I'll wait for him in his room, don't worry about it."
"Love you Aubs, have a good night." Nick kissed his daughters forehead and Sinead hugged her tightly before they both went to bed."Hey gorgeous, lets go wait in Baz's room for a while." Aubrey picked up the sleeping bubba and held Lola close to her chest. "One day I'll have a little baby. But don't worry Lola bear, you're my favourite as of right now." Lola rolled over in Aubrey's arms and flashed her the most adorable smile that Aubrey had ever seen in her 22 years. "Good night bub." Aubrey muttered and they both passed out despite meaning to stay awake and wait for Bailey to get home.

Bailey stumbled quietly through the door at about two in the morning and came face to face with his sister and their mutual friend's daughter on her lap, both sitting in his room waiting for him to get home. Lola was passed out on Aubrey's lap and the elder girl's head was leaned back on the wall as they sat asleep on his bed. Bailey smiled at the sight and took a quick photo, he picked up a blanket and put it over the pair delicately as to not wake either of them up, before leaving to go to sleep in Aubrey's room so that he could sleep without disturbing the pair who looked insanely comfortable.
boring. boring. boring.
