Kate & Rafe: OTP Questionnaire 2

I just really love my OTP, okay? All questions come from random prompts on the internet, btw. Answers are in regular text, questions are in italics. Feel free to share your opinions on the questions!

Who asks the other weird questions in the middle of the night, and who hits them in the face with a pillow?

Neither ask the weird questions: Michael, Wilamena, and especially Emma barge in during the night and ask those. Rafe enchants pillows to chase them out and Kate just hides under the covers.

Who builds the blanket fort on the living room floor?

Neither starts it, but both join in if Michael, Emma, & Wilamena, or later their own children, ask them to. 

Who carries the kids from the couch/car to bed?

They tag team because if multiple kids are asleep, multiple parents carrying them gets everyone to bed faster. If only one is asleep, Rafe carries them. If the kids in question are Michael and Wilamena, they are shaken awake, and if Kate isn't around and Emma is asleep, she is going to be ruthlessly grabbed by the ankle and dragged awake by the others. 

Who soothes the kids after nightmares?

Whoever is present and more alert. Both have a lot of experience with nightmares, sadly, so they know what do do by now.

Who wants to throw out their child's car-seat because the stupid thing won't strap in?

Rafe! He does not understand this modern item, he was raised in magical 1899, for crying out loud! Said car-seat comes very close to being obliterated.

Who cries on the kids first day of school?

They both keep a brave face while saying goodbye but when the kids are gone, Kate just starts crying while Rafe holds her and internally bawls.

Who gets the kids onto the local sports team?

Neither, because that's not what their children want to be doing. Well, until Abby joins an archery club. But that's her choice. They don't force their kids to do anything they don't want.

And who's the parent who gets way too aggressive at these sports games?

Rafe. He would totally threaten an asshole referee or opposing instructor if it wasn't for Kate's level head.

Who lets the kids stay up to watch movies and who sends them to bed?

Rafe is still learning pop culture himself so he wants to watch movies with the kids and Kate sends them all to bed.

Who sneaks candy to the kids before school, and who pretends not to notice?

Emma shows up and sneaks the kids candy, everyone else just ignores her, except Michael because those two fight over everything, including their nieces and nephew.

Who is the parent who yells at the kids for being sent to the principals office, and who yells at the principal? 

Kate doesn't yell, but she does have calm, rational conversations with the children about what happened. Rafe yells at the principal. 

Who teaches their son to tie a tie?

That ends up being way more complicated then it could be. So both of them teach Lili to tie a tie because she wants to wear suits to some formal events. She then takes it upon herself to teach Jake. And when Abby decides she wants to get in on the suit wearing fun, she asks the first person she can find to help her, and that happens to be Grandpa Richard. So yeah.
