Just some random headcanons (see the intro for a definition of a headcanon if you don't know) I have about different TBOB characters. You may agree, you may not, but I just thought I'd share them with you.

- Emma steals food from everyone but mostly Michael. It infuriates him constantly.

- Wilamena is a vegetarian. It's a common thing among the elves, and many of them choose not to eat meat.

- Jake and Beetles are magical treasure hunters and adventures. Not particularly good ones. Whenever they return to NYC they end up in Abigail's guest room and raiding her fridge. They never pay rent (not that she doesn't try to collect it, but they're super good at bullshitting their way out of it.

- Emma's favorite animal is a penguin (though that's kind of canon) and her second favorite is a raven. She also thinks lions are cool.

- Michael's is surprisingly a rabbit, and when he finally admits it Wilamena squeals with delight and Emma teases him mercilessly. He is also a big fan of dragons and dragon-like magical creatures.

- Emma teases Michael a LOT about his relationship with Wilamena.

- Out of all the Wibberly family, none of them are great cooks. Richard isn't bad at it, and Michael is learning pretty fast. Clare can make breakfast and lunch but rarely can pull off a decent dinner. Kate's not too bad at the whole cooking thing either. Emma should not be allowed in the kitchen.

- Rafe is actually a pretty good cook. He learned from spending all that time running his gang of kids in New York. They taught him to cook many different things.

-  Abigail grows up to sort of take over Henrietta Burke's job. She's always ready to help any magical child in need and find them a good home. She figures it's an important job and she wants to help people like Rafe and Ms. B helped her when she was young.

- After the events of the black reckoning, Abigail, Jake, and Beetles all reunite with Kate and tell her all that's happened to them. Several jokes about opening shops are made.

- Hugo Algernon is the weird and slightly drunk uncle to the Wibberly family.

- King Robbie makes sure to send the Wibberly family all sorts of holiday cards, each featuring pictures of Hamish dressed in the most ridiculous outfits Robbie could find.

- Richard wasn't too big a fan of the elves at first but after meeting Wilamena and hearing about all she's done for Michael, he starts to take an interest in learning about their culture and actually finds it really interesting.

- Kate is the only Wibberly who knows how chopsticks work. Richard and Clare can sort of fake it but Michael and Emma are hopeless, even when Kate tried to teach them.

- Kate loves to dance, and is actually pretty good at it.

- Michael and Emma do not share this enthusiasm for dance. Though Michael likes it more because Wilamena enjoys it.

- Kate has absolutely no fear of spiders. She's the designated person to get rid of them when they show up and scare Michael because Emma cannot be trusted to.

- Kate finds it soothing when Rafe plays his slow, sad songs on the violin. She may not be musical herself but she understands the message. Rafe, for his part, loves to serenade her by playing.

- Michael and Emma constantly fight over who gets the first and last of something, be it cupcakes or waffles or anything else.

- Board game nights with the siblings are chaotic because Michael and Emma are so competitive. This has lead to Kate imposing temporary bans on scrabble and monopoly until they promise to reign it in.

- Emma wants to learn to wield a sword like Gabriel could, both to protect her family and to be like her best friend, hero, and mentor.

- Kate is a fantastic keeper of secrets after so many years of Michael and Emma trusting her with theirs.

- All three Wibberly siblings have never had any issue with thunderstorms and actually find them soothing at times. The thunder can drown out the chaos of their own lives and make things seem less big and scary by confining them to the safety of inside.

- Kate is a fantastic storyteller, and her siblings are always excited when she goes to tell them a story. She's always been particularly good at it and takes joy in weaving tales for those she loves.
