Sour

       Roseanne patiently stared at her spotify. Waiting for Olivia Rodrigo's debut album Sour to drop. She softly tapped her foot against her hardwood floor as she waited. She refreshed once more and that's when it happened. The album was out finally after all this time. She dashed down the hall to her and Lisa's shared room. "Lisa?!" she cried as she flopped down onto the bed. Lisa lifted her head at Chaeyoung's voice and smiled brightly as she watched her gracefully flopped down. "Can you break up with me for 34 minutes please?" Rosé asked. Lisa's brown eyes grew wide.

       "What?!" she shouted making her girlfriend fall back in surprise. Lisa loved Rosie. She probably couldn't even survive 34 minutes without the love of her life. "Break up with me for 34 minutes." Chaeyoung repeated once more. The blonde didn't understand what Lisa didn't get. Break up for 34 minutes. Plain and simple. "Why!" Lisa asked. Roseanne rolled her eyes. "Because Olivia Rodrigo's album Sour just came out and in order to listen to it I need to be heartbroken." she explained quickly. Lisa shook her head in disapproval. "No I'm not doing that Rosie. I love you too much."

           Chaeyoung audibly groaned in disappointment. "How about we break up then listen to it together and then get back together." she proposed. Lisa thought about it for a while. She saw the benefits and disadvantages. "Rosie we are over." Lisa said in the most serious tone she could muster before she walked away and shut the door behind her. Immediately regretting her harsher tone when she heard Roseanne's whimpers from the other side of the door before going to find how to occupy herself for 34 minutes as soon as she heard Chaeyoung turn on their pink shared bluetooth speaker.

          "RED LIGHTS STOP SIGNS!" Roseanne cried at the top of her lungs. She didn't mean to be this emotional but halfway through Brutal she realized how in love she was with Lisa and that it actually hurt to be away from her for a few minutes. On the other hand Lisa found herself in Jennie's room. She sat on the floor playing with Kuma as she heard Chaeyoung's muffled cries and her music. Reluctantly she started to play the album in time with Rosie. By the end of it she herself was also crying and even Kuma was as well.

         Roseanne pattered over to Jennie's room and softly knocked on the door. "Lis? You in here?" She asked quietly in a whine. Lisa immediately getting up from her spot on the floor to scoop the disheveled mess up in her arms. "I love you so much Rosie. Never make me do that to you for an album ever again." she said into Rosé's ruffled mess of blonde hair before placing soft kisses into it. The two sat like that for a while on the floor before moving into their room. Millions of 'I love you' s have passed their lips.

        "So we are back together forever now?" Roseanne asked shyly into Lisa's shoulder. Lisa nodded erratically. "I love you too much to ever let you go like that again." she said as she looked down at her girlfriend's teary eyes and smile. Chaeyoung's gaze faltered for a second. "Can we pretend we didn't break up please." she asked. Lisa nodding before taking her hands and placing them on Chaeyoung's face. Roseanne brought the two's lips together in a slow and sweet kiss. Neither in a rush to make it heated or passionate. Enjoying each other was perfectly enough for them.

          The two woke up that evening to the smell of mashed potatoes. Roseanne's favorite mashed potatoes; Boston Market. "Lis! Come on the unnies got us Boston Market!!" she whispered excitedly which was all it took for Lisa's honey brown eyes to meet her own. The younger picking the blonde up and carrying her down the hall as she felt the girl's head tucking itself into the crook of her neck and smiled. "Look at you two lovebirds!" Jisoo commented in korean to the pair before she met Jennie's immediate scolding. The maknaes bursting into laughter at the sight before them.

          Lisa immediately took Rosé's plate and started serving portions onto it like she always did. She decided it was her favorite thing to do in the whole universe. Care for her girlfriend & tend to all her needs. "Babe can you go light on the corn you know I don't like it very much." Chaeyoung said without even looking at what Lisa was putting on her plate. Which to be honest was just a bunch of chicken,mashed potatoes & almost the whole container of mac and cheese. The light in Roseanne's eyes after Lisa had served it was definitely worth it.

        A couple hours passed when they heard Jisoo's sobbing and the intro to Favorite Crime start playing from through the wall. Chaeyoung immediately taking the opportunity to situate herself in Lisa's lap before telling her: "This song reminded me of you especially." Lisa's head tilted to the side. "Why?" she asked dumbfounded. Roseanne grabbed her hands and put them to her heart. "Because you're my favorite crime." she said with a bright smile. It seemed like it was illegal to be LGBTQ+ in South Korea. Especially in the Kpop industry. That's why only Jennie, Jisoo & their company knew about them.

         "Guess what Roseanne Park." Lisa said shortly afterwards. Rosé looked at her inquisitively as she waited for an answer. "You're my favorite crime too." she said before she grabbed the blonde by the waist and pulled her in for a kiss. All their worries melted away when they were together. Roseanne liked that carefree feeling in her chest when she was with Lisa. Lisa liked watching Chaeyoung experience that feeling whenever she was with her. Their lips moved languidly as they didn't notice their unnies watching in the door way after just getting back together. "They're made for each other."
