Epilogue

Since I saw her with her messy hair, I couldn't take off my eyes on her. I can say that she's different, not because she is prison in her house but because she is innocently beautiful.

"Mr. Montenegro, she is my daughter-Eli," her dad introduced her.
Inabot ko ang kamay ko sa kaniya, "Hi, nice to meet you." Her face crumpled.

Magmula no'n, I decided to turned down the contract. Ayokong gawin 'yon sa kaniya. I can't let her fall in love with me because of that contract, she will fall in love with me 'coz I am falling for her.

"Ayoko ko na nga! I don't want this anymore!" I shouted. How many time do they have to call me? Naiinis na ako, they always asking how am I doing with her.

"Hector, isipin mo! This is for the project," Xia said.

"Shut the f*ck up!" sigaw ko. I don't want this anymore but she is always reminding me about it.

"Mahal mo na siya? May gusto ka na sa kaniya?!" tumaas ang boses nito. She us like angry towards me. Kumunot ang noo ko kasabay nang pagtibok ng puso ko.

"What the hell are you thinking?! Siya dapat ang mahulog sa'yo, hindi 'yong ikaw ang nahulog!" tugon niya. Napayukom ako ng kamao. I am tired, naiinis ako. I dropped the phone. Why do I have to follow them?

I called Don Eden Reyes, the one who told me. He's on the vacation.

"Engineer, how was it? Looks like my daughter is fond of you!" bungad niyang sagot sa'kin.

"I am done with it. Ayoko na. Itigil na natin ang kasunduang ito," malamig kong sagot.

"W-what? What about the project?" he asked surprisingly.

"Hindi ko na kukunin ang project na 'yon. I don't want to hurt your daughter and I am falling for her, Sir," I said honestly. My heart beats crazily when she's around.

Nakarinig ako ng malakas na tawa mula sa kaniya, "Maganda 'yan, Engineer. Taposin mo na lang ang trabaho mo hanggang makabalik ang maid sa bahay, I'll pay for you," sambit niya at agad na pinatay ang tawag. Nakahinga ako ng maluwag. Sa wakas at mae-enjoy ko na ang araw na kasama siya.

After I confesses my feelings to her, doon ko nalaman na gusto niya rin pala ako. I was so jealous about Sam and it made me damn crazy.

"I should thank Sam dahil kung hindi dahil sa kaniya hindi mo malalaman na gusto mo ako," natatawa niyang sambit. My forehead creases.
