CHAPTER 62

AC's POV

"Nathalie preapare the conference room" Ren said when he got back from the washroom.

"Eat your lunch magsisimula na yung meeting." He said as he sat down on his chair.

"I'm not hungry." I answered.

"You're so skinny. Parang hindi ka kumakain." He said and browse the papers on his desk.

He's right. I haven't been eating a lot lately. I only drink coffee sometimes fastfood and alak. Hindi ko na din alam kung anong nangyayari sakin. I feel like I'm loosing myself. Feeling ko nawawala na ako sa landas kung saan dapat ako tutungo. Tila ba ang mundo namin ay nagkapalit at ako na ngayon ang pariwara ang buhay.

Hindi ko maintindihan ang mga nangyayari para bang nasa panahinip ako at gusto ko nalang magising at malaman na panaginip lang lahat ng to.

"Ren I have something to tell you. I just want to-"

"Call me Ethan." So he doesn't want me to call him by his first name? Napalunok nalang ako and try to hide the pain.

"Ethan, kami ni Matthew-"

"Yes hello?" He answered the phone call. I feel like he's trying to ignore what I am going to say. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako. Kinuha ko na ang mga gamit ko bago tumayo at nagtungo sa banyo para magfreshen up. Nang makarating ako sa banyo ay nakatingin lang ako sa salamin.

I look in the mirror trying to examine my body. He's right I loss some weight. My face looks tired. My eyes looks like they're about to sleep. My lips are dry. My hair feels like a birds nest. And I feel exhausted.

I freshen up na mukhang wala namang nagbago cause I still look tired at lumabas na papunta sa conference room.

"Kuya" I said as I enter the room.

"Are you ok?" Tanong naman niya habang naka tingin sa akin.

"Yeah I'm totally fine." I answered and sat down on my chair.

Kakaupo ko palang ng pumasok si Ryle at naupo sa left side ko.

"Hey."

"Hi." I answered bored.

"Are you ok?" He ask and I just continue on what I'm doing.

"Yeah I'm fine." Sagot ko nalang habang pinagpapatuloy parin ang ginagawa.

"So how was the trip?" He asked again.

"The beach was nice and the house is beautiful. And it's huge." I answered.

"Do you want to chill after the meeting?" He asked again. I look to the guy who entered the room and process his question for a while before answering.

"Yeah sure. Where are we going?" I asked him back.

"You can decide. We can go to a racetrack if you want or we can have a drink on a cafe or maybe just buy some take out food and go to your favourite place. It's up to you. Don't worry my treat." He answered and laughed.

"We'll decide after the meeting." I said and look back at Ren who is looking at me but he immediately looked away when he saw me looking at him.

Minutes later at dumating na sina Tito Rudy and the other important persons. And the meeting started with Ren presenting something.

Many hours later and the meeting ended.

"Ija, can we talk for a second?" Tito Rudy ask.

"Oo naman tito. Sige po susunod po ako sa office niyo I'll just fix my things up." Sagot ko naman. Inayos ko lang ang mga gamit ko and after that I headed to Tito Rudy's office.
