CHAPTER 32

Ren's POV

I'm currently on the racetrack. With no sleep I'm just having coffe while waiting for AC to arrive. Ano pa nga ba hindi na ako natulog, at naligo nalang. If I sleep baka mamayang gabi na ako magising. It's currently almost lunchtime and wala naman akong ginawa kanina. Aside from drinking and finishing some packs of cigarettes. I don't know why I suddenly think of smoking. Maybe I'm just frustrated about this nonesense things.

About 30 minutes later she finally arrive.

"Mr. Morris you need to get ready now." tawag sa akin ng isang staff dito.

To be fair I got us both a new car that's the same para walang dayaan at para na din hindi niya isipin na baka mandaya ako bacause I'm using the car that she gifted to me on my birthday.

Tumayo ako sa upuan at lumapit sa sasakyan niya agad naman siyang lumabas at hinarap ako.

"You don't need to use your car for this race. I got us the same car and we will be using it." sabi ko ng makalabas siya.

"The bet. Make sure to do it after this race." mukhang gustong gusto niya talagang manalo. I handed her a copy of the agreement that we both sign. At agad naman niya itong kinuha.

"What is this?" tanong niya at binuksan ang folder.

"Read every part of it. I'll see you later when you're ready to race." sabi ko at naglakad na palayo doon.

I hope she really reads it all. Alam ko sa sarili ko na hindi ako matutuwa kapag nanalo siya. Hindi yon ikakatuwa ng puso at katawan ko dahil hindi ko siya kayang makita sa ibang lalaki

AC's POV

I'm currently reading the agreement papers. And... This is so wrong... Nararamdaman ko na mali tong race na to. Maling mali.

First of all this agreement is written so direct to the point. This is what its contains.

On page one there are some signature. Signatures of my parents, his parents and the both of us.

On page two there are some kind of maybe you can call it law or rule for the both of us.

On number one, if one of the couples has cheated. The other can file a case on him/her and can be imprisoned for 5-10 years.

So thats is what's Tito is talking about.

Also on the number 10, you can't marry anyone else unless the two sides both sign the page 6 of this agreement.

So that is what he's talking about when we were in the SH.

The number 7 caught my eye. If the couples are separated, any friends or family can't date or do this kinds of things that are listed below:

KISS
MAKE OUT
DATE etc.

If rules were violated the othe half can file a case on the other half that have violated any of the things mention above.

Wait... What? Pwedeng makulong? So kapag naghiwalay kami ni Ren, I can't date neither Ryle or Matt. Bacause Ryles is Ren's cousin and Matt is Rens friend.

I flip though the pages and found the page 6 which contains the a big lettering of the words.

SEPARATION CONTRACT

Below it is our names with signature lines above them. And it's all what it contains besides on the other things it contains like terms and conditions.

I'm not happy after reading all of the agreements. It's like tearing my heart into pieces thinking I'll sign the separation contract. But I have no choice kundi ang ipanalo ang race na to dahil magkakarooon na ng asawa at anak si Ren.

Ilang minuto din akong nakatulala at naka upo lang ng bumukas ang pinto.

"Hindi ko naman alam na makikipagrace ka kay Morris." sabi ni Matt habang papasok ng pintuan.

"Why are you here?" tanong ko naman pabalik sa kanya.

"We came para panoorin kayo." we? Sinong kasama niya?

"Sinong kasama mo?" tanong ko ulit sa kanya.

"Blake, Kurt and Mike. Nandoon sila kay Ethan. I just came to check you out. And what is that?" tanong niya at kinuha ang folder na nakapatong sa lamesa.

"The agreement? So this is what it's all about? Do you really want this?" tanong niya habang binabasa ang mga papel.

Oo nga, gusto ko ba talaga to? Do I really want this? Do I really want Ren to sign the agreement? Pero wala akong magagawa, I need to make this work. Naaawa ako sa bata.

"Wala akong choice alam mo yan. And besides kapag napirmahan na niya yan they can get married and live happily together with their baby." sagot ko habang nakatingin sa malayo.

"And you?" well....

"I don't know. Focus on business maybe. And maybe someday I can find someone who wouldn't cheat on me. Sa ngayon hindi pa ako sigurado sa mga pinapasok ko."

"What happen if you lose?" ohhh that..

"Got to live with him for a weak. Just the two of us. And who knows kung anong plano niya."

"You should get ready. Para matapos na kayo agad." sabi niya kaya tumayo na ako at nagpunta sa fitting room para magpalit ng suit. Nang matapos na ako ay lumabas na at pumunta sa race track kasama si Matt.

"Kate!" sigaw sa akin ni Blake ng makita ako at agad naman silang lumapit.

"Good luck on your race." sabi ni Kurt.

"Thanks. But don't you have work on office? Bakit kayo nandito?" tanong ko naman.

"Ahm, nalaman kasi namin na magrarace kayo ni Ethan so gusto lang naming makasiguro na he will not go beyond that. You know the devil he is." yeah he's a devil.

Sa race na to hindi ko alam kung magiging masaya ako sa kahit na anong resulta. Alam ko sa sarili ko na kahit manalo ako hindi ako magiging masaya at kapag nanalo siya ay mas lalo lang gugulo ang lahat.

Gagawin ko to kasi wala akong choice. At wala akong pagpipilian. Dahil kahit anong gawin ko mananatili ang sakit at mananatiling magulo ang lahat para sa akin.

Hindi ko ginusto ang lahat ng mga nangyayari ngayon at dahil sa nabasa ko ang agreement ay mas lalong bumigat ang pakiramdam ko. Iisipin ko palang na ikakasal siya sa iba ay nanghihina na ako.

Pero sana naman ay magkaroon ako ng lakas ng loob para dito. I have no choice. This is the only choice I have right now at wala akong takas dito. I will try my best to win over this race, masakit isipin na sa una naming race na dalawa ay malaki ang nakataya. Unang beses ko palang siyang makakalaban sa race, pero ang mga nakataya ay malaking bagay.

Alam kong mahal ako maningil sa car racing pero itong mga nakapusta ay napakalaking big deal sa akin, sa amin.

I hope I win. Dahil kung hindi... Gugulo lang ang lahat. Mas lalong gugulo.
