Ren Ethan Morris has been my boyfriend for 3 years now. Excluding the years where we are not yet official.

Studying in London is quite a challenge for me. Living alone and being independent on my own. I learn so many things along the way.

Ren visits me once a month for the first year but in the second year, he just visits me once in every 3 months. This year he just visited me twice. Well, I can't blame him. He's taking over their company in the Philippines. So I understand that he's busy. I just feel lonely sometimes.

But now I don't have to be lonely. I'm currently on the plane heading home.

"Hi ma." bati ko kay Mama ng makarating ako sa kinaroroonan nila.

"Hi hija. How was the flight." tanong niya.

"Tiring." maikling sagot ko.

"Ethan can't come. Sabi niya na may emergency meeting daw siya." sabi niya ng mahalatang may hinahanap ako.

I understand. But can he at least lend me some time? I mean kararating ko lang. Can't he at least give me 30 minutes of his time?

Ughhh nevermind. He's just busy with business.

"Let's go. Para makapagpahinga ka na. Or you want to go home in your house?" tanong ni mama.

"I'll go with you." sagot ko at pumasok na sa sasakyan. Pinasok naman ng driver ang mga maleta ko sa likod.

Nakahiga ako ngayon sa kama. We'll I'm tired and can't do anything. Pumikit ako at hinayaang makatulog.

Nagising ako ng maramdaman kong may humahaplos sa ulo ko.

"Hi." bati niya habang naka ngiti.

Ngumiti lang ako at bumangon mula sa pagkakahiga.

"How's the flight?" tanong niya.

"Tiring." maikling sagot ko.

Hindi ko itatanggi na nagtatampo ako sa kanya.

"Are you gonna stay here?" tanong niya. I don't know but I have this feeling of something else. Maybe I'm just tired. Yeah, that's it. I'm just tired.

"No. I'll come with you. Wala din naman akong gagawin dito." sagot ko.

"Sorry hindi na ako nakapunta kanina sa airport. May emergency meeting kasi sa office." sabi niya at tumayo at tinangal ang suit niya.

"It's ok." maikling sagot ko. It's not ok.

"No it's not. Nagtatampo ka ba?" tanong niya at naupo sa kama.

I need to say what I feel. I need to be frank with him.

"Yes." sagot ko at tumayo para maghilamos sa banyo.

"I promise I'll make it up." sabi niya at sumunod sa akin sa banyo at tumayo sa may pintuan.

"No need. I'm good." sagot ko ng matapos akong mag hilamos at nagpunas.

"Hey, I'm sorry this won't happen again. I promise." sabi niya at lumapit sa akin at niyakap ako.

"Can't you at least give me 30 minutes of your time? I mean I'm your girlfriend and I know you're busy in the office." sagot ko at kumalas sa pagkakayakap sa kanya.

"I'm really sorry fiancée." sabi niya at sumunod sa akin.

"I'm going on a meeting on the next day." sabi ko at binuksan ang maleta para kumuha ng damit.
