CHAPTER 98

Ren's POV

"Aren't you going back in there?" She asked when I prompted to stay since wala sina tita and JD is also at the office for overtime work. Si Marcus and yaya Linda lang ang kasama nila dito so I decided to stay at wag nang bumalik.

"Maybe not. Samahan nalang kita dito." sagot ko naman.

"Ikaw bahala, I'm gonna take a bath na. Nasa guest room yung ibang gamit mo nilipat ko pala kahapon."

"Is it cluttered in your closet?"

"Nope, nag ayos lang ako and I bought you a cabinet to store your clothes in if ever you're staying here. Sige na I'll be on my room if you need anything."

Umakyat na din ako sa guestroom and I just change into comfortable clothes. I'm pretty sure there is an after party pero tinatamad na din akong pumunta and isa pa walang kasama sina AC dito.

Habang naka higa ako ay may tumawag. Ano na namang kaylangan ng mga to?

"What?"

[Hindi ka na bumalik? May afterparty pa.]

"I'll pass."

[Bago yan ah. Bagong buhay ka na ba?]

"I'm pretty sure the afterparty is gonna be boring so I won't go."

[There are gonna be hot girls there, are you sure you don't want to come?]

"Hundred percent sure."

[Ok, well see you tomorrow.]

After that they ended the call. Wala din naman kasi akong gagawin don and isa pa hindi din naman pupunta si AC so might as well rest. Minutes later habang naka higa ako ay nagdecide ako na puntahan si AC sa kwarto niya.

"AC?" tawag ko sa kanya habang kumakatok sa pinto.

"Wait a second." sabi niya bago ako pagbuksan ng pinto. "Anong ginagawa mo dito?" tanong niya ng pumasok ako. Agad naman akong yumakap sa kanya and she just stand there. "Huh?" she exclaimed dahil sa pagyakap ko sa kanya.

"I need comfort." I whispered as I tighten my arms around her.

"Are you ok? Do you want to lie down?" she said and I just nodded.

She guided me to her bed, and we both lie down while I was still hugging her.

"You should get a girlfriend. Even though you're my best friend we still need boundaries just like Kuya said. But for the mean time you can enjoy my comfort."

"Hmm." I hummed, not listening to what she is saying.

She started running her fingers through my hair as she reads her book while I was lying on her stomach.

"You should go to the guest room now, Kuya will see us like this and will think some random stuffs again." she said as she comb her fingers on my hair.

"He has already seen us sleeping together in one bedroom why would this matter." I calmly said. We are best friends and it doesn't matter if we sleep beside each other. It's not like we weren't doing this since I move in this country.

"Well he said we should set boundaries."

"Nonsense." I said. We went silent for couple of minutes when...

"Ren your phone is ringing." she said.

"Who is it?"

"Ahmm..." she contemplated if she's gonna say it or not.
