Destroyed Innocence.
I still feel the rain on my skin
hear the drops hit the stone
I walked on
I mistake made in a moment
I never meant to stop
I could have carried on to home
but I stopped
Never saw him never heard him draw near
boot heels kicking on the ground
screaming pleading begging silence
I felt my hair being ripped from my skin
the blows to my bones
heard the laughter in the air mixed in with my pleas
then silence.
Darkness took hold of me
I felt my mind pass into nothingness
respite from the torture the degradation
Flickering eyes open
I see faces over me
the smell of smoke and cheap beer
voices merging into one another
total confusion mixed with intolerable pain
Used by people I never knew
A play thing a toy a means to an end
An innocence destroyed
I feel my blood running down my legs
trickling down my arms
my tears run down
my voice is dry from the screaming
the crushing pain around my neck
the cold of a chain twisting and turning around
my breathing coming harder yet I will not let them destroy me
there is a sliver of me still alive.
The fire of who I am is lying in the ashes
I feel the weight move the darkness claims me once more
I awake in the rain broken and bleeding
torn clothes broken soul
A shadow lost to the light
