Desires they run so deep within me
It is not the longing for him that keeps me from smiling though
For he is always here as I hold his heart so tenderly in my hands
He is everything to me
I wonder if he knows that every breath I take I think of him
That when my heart beats it calls for him to hold me
The man is my muse, my very core existence
I wake and my first thought is of him and if he is smiling
I desire him with every fibre of my being
He is my friend... my love... my missing piece
Without him there is a void where my soul should lie
A skip in the beat of my heart
A breath that catches and a tear that falls
I read a poem where a man was described so beautifully
He was my North, my South, my East and West
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
but to me, those words although powerful
Are nothing compared to express how this man makes me feel
I only ever need three simple words
That to me were powerful enough
I love you
