The sky turned from it's blue hue to black in seconds
the winds swept and circled around whistling through every shadow
The rain came from nowhere and poured thick cold and heavy onto the earth
A summers night turned to winter in a matter of minutes
Precious seconds flew by as the moonlight was lost to the darkened clouds
The noise, the darkness the despair that the storm brought was overpowering
Thunder came in thick and fast deafening the world in its laughter
Lightening forks crashing and tearing through years of purity
A single stroke and a burning, broken corpse lies in its wake
The clouds.... blanketing the skies have taken away the moon
It's protective light hidden from the world
Through the storms protective grip upon the purity
glimmers of light are trying to find their way through
With every sliver, every glow the world is reclaimed from the darkness.
The strength of the storm is growing
as the seconds of dusk till dawn creep by a battle between dark and light goes on
The world is drowning in icy rain numbing everything to its core
the strongest of all beings lie burning and crumbing into dust
and there slowly is more light breaking through showing a glimmer of innocence
a moment where the world can be seen for it was before this night
A calm in the screaming tormented night for seconds slowly turning into minutes
The dawn is around the corner the red of the morning sun glows
yet there is the moon shining strong once more
a beautiful constant in the life and death,
the day and the night ... the darkness turned to light
