A pain that can receive no cure is hidden deep within
I lie here cold and alone longing for the warmth I found in your arms
No truth no lies just a longing so cold that it freezes me to the core
I have no comprenhension of why you hurt me so
Why you took away the love you felt for me
Yet I fear that it is gone lost into the darkness that surrounds
Take me in your arms once more and tell me that I am wrong
I ask this simple thing of you but fear it will not happen
Lost alone and hurting I lie as still as though Death himself had claimed me
I love you still you own my heart even as I feel it crumble and fall into a dusty pile
The saying is that it's best to have loved and lost rather than never loved at all
That I fear is so true and despite the pain in my heart
I would not change any and everything I've done in my life
Nor any emotion I have let my heart experience
So lie by my side and look into my eyes and see the multitude of love lust and sweet friendship I feel for you
Stay there with me till the sun rises and I realise it was all but a dream
