Letting you see who I am for the first time
A girl with a past that haunts her a future that is unclear
Yet blessed with a present that is filled with joy for you are here
Take my hand and hold me tight against you
Look deep in my eyes and see me truly completely see who I can be
I am who I am but who that is
Well she's a mystery, an enigma and puzzle that needs piecing together
As the rain cleanses my soul and the sun brightens my skin
I move with you a perfect match moving as one
For we are two souls, two hearts that beat as one
Life kept us parted from one another but now
Now we're here together and the world can crumble and fall before I lose you
Keep me grounded and show me the way
Let this vulnerable girl who longs to be who she should
Be loved by you and find the deep friendship and care only you can give
Fall around and guide her forward
