Shadows of life dance the macabre ballet around me
Waiting for this heartache to leave me
Self-sacrifice for the hole in my life to leave me now
I need you to make this right
Save me from the eternal drowning that destroys me
My heart wasn't whole when you found me
Yet here I can feel it breaking once more
I am afraid I cannot be more than I want to be
I am scared that I cannot find the strength to fight this pain
I cry at night because your warmth is gone
I warned myself to walk away before I fell to deep
Yet here I am lost because of you
Nothing more can save me now
I am a broken fragile girl
Nothing here that is left to catch me
I give myself to the dance of death
Swallow me, consume me and restrain me from coming whole again
