For I shall dream no small dreams
I shall fight to live a life that lets me believe in more
To be all that I can be in my heart and soul
I shall discover that there is a path in the world for me
The sun shall rise and it shall fall around me
My shadow will not fade away for I shall presuppose that I will be seen
Within my dreams there will elements taken from my reality
The bitter sweet pain of remembrance
The joys and overwhelming pleasure found in the love I give and receive
A simple kiss has made me become alive and open to new dreams
New possibilities and within the realms of my life things I had become afraid to witness
Through my new world and newly opened eyes I feel truly alive
Like a newborn child discovering everything for the first time
I feel alive unafraid and have the self-belief to achieve in all the I endevour
This is all down to the words and love I find around me
The gentle hands that have reached out for me when I have fallen
All this I am thankful for
For now I am who I wish to be as I move forward through my dreamscapes
Through the dawn till the dusk I shall smile, cry and live fully
