I am over the pain and the confusion
The worst blows to my body came from the words you never said
The tears in my eyes that will never fall are from the tender touches that have become absent friends
To believe in more to believe in who I am and who I shall be
Is the lesson I learnt through this pain
The walls are up and the heart that was once warm is icy cold
Like poison in my veins blue eyes lose all their emotion
The smile upon my face is painted on and I wear the mask so well.
It's as if it never left me
The true image of who I am is the porcelain doll - the perfect pupil once more
Emotions are for the weak it would appear because as I hide them all away I become stronger
More in control of who I am I stand taller stronger and defiant
This is who I am once more the cracks have healed
The lesson is learnt and I move forward
Blind to the pain and heartache that I pretend to have never known
