He haunts my dreams
the man I see is someone I could love with all that I am
He is a memory of something that will never be
I feel the warmth he would feel for me
if only I was in his arms tonight
I would know what it felt like to experience the pleasure of desire
He tells me when I close my eyes that I am his all
For a while in the darkness I let myself believe
That he is not in my dreams but holding me close to his heart
It is here in the darkness that I feel like I am complete
He can haunt my dreams and save me from my nightmares
for his an angel though not pure of heart
He has the heart of a man and his flaws are what draw me closer
Let me long for the dark to last longer
So here I lie ready to drift away and I shall await him
Will let my body be held by arms that I can feel around me
a heart that I can hear beating in perfect rhythm with mine
Do not be afraid of your dreams for you never know who will want to love you there
