I feel you watching me dance as the sand swirls up around me
The warmth of the sun has never felt so good
as I twirl and dip beneath your arm
My laughter can be heard on the summer wind
I am feeling free in the warmth of the sun and your smile
Is this the time I can remember what it feels like to be me
With you and I together like this I feel as though I can fly
The weight has gone from me as the smile on my face is mirrored in my eyes
I am finally me and the shackles of cruelty are gone
Let the sun and the moon see me dancing free
Let the wind and the rain hear our joy of being together
you in me and me in you
Alone and together
Lying side by side, hand in hand we smile
We are free to be who we want to be.
