You Saw
Lying in bed at night
you're the one who keeps me grounded
your arms are the one that hold me
It's your breath on my neck
that helps me fall into a peaceful slumber
I sleep so soundly hearing you tell me the truth
that you love me.
That with me is where you want to be for always
How can this love be so strong
Out of nowhere you came to me
Is it possible that my dreams of a love so pure
made you become a reality
But when you look at me
When I feel your eyes watching me sleep
I know you're there
I can feel even in a deep slumber
the smile cross my face.
You made me believe in me...
You saw the fragile girl within the woman
and I know that in your arms
I can be me.
I offer my heart to you
and I know you hold it safe
At first I never believed it to be true
that someone could know me so well
but you... you are the one I can be so content with.
You my love.
Let the darkness and doubt surround me
let the fear of not knowing consume me
till the morning and I see the truth.
That you and I were given the chance to be
I want to lie like this till the sun dies.
Till there is no more but just you and I.
I want to look into your eyes till the world falls around us.
With you I want to see the stars fade away
I want to see the sky fall...
With you I want forever can we make it be?
