I beg and I cry out my pleas...
I can see who you are... who you want to be.
In dark eyes I see me screaming
I see my reflection in the broken glass,
I am a shadow of death,
my core is tearing apart my existence.
You won't let me be free,
You won't let me see what lies under the dirt of life
Shackled to this existence
a girl and a man held together for what neither knows
but here we stand no breath leaving our lips
no beats from our hearts to disturb the night
In the shadowed nights all that becomes clear
we're born to die slowly
to live through this world wondering why and when we shall be gone
Tonight is the night I find out the answer to the silent pleading
The cold earth awaits me as I fall to the floor
I await the return to the land the brought me forth
