To many I will sunds like I'm going crazy
I was the one who lived by her own rules no one got close
I was safe in my solitude
Then there was the warmth of your embrace and the love in your eyes
I ran to you and lost myself within you
The feel of your hands on my skin making me shiver
The rough upon the soft brings me to life
Did I ever tell you how I feel
That when I'm with you I find myself where I belong
You are my home you are my sanctuary
The world may fall down around me and my tears may fall
Or the storm may become too loud and I will want to hide
You let me be myself and be finally true to be who I see within
My lover my equal my friend and so much more
Above all you are my everything whether you know it or not
If you offer me sanctuary from the darkness I will take it
but in return I offer you my heart and soul in return
