With a wildfire filling my heart and burning my soul
I'm going to try and set what I am free and let it fly
If I leave here I'm saying goodbye to my heartbreak

I'm begging and I'm pleading don't make me
For this is the pain when I'm on my knees
That keeps the fire alive in me
I give myself over to it and let it consume me
I need it as much as I need the sweet calm of a winter' kiss
They see me here the shadows keeping me calm as the tears trickle down
The plan I had lies in tatters for I shut down my heart to everyone
Protected my torn apart soul from false words and broken dreams
Till there was a sunrise made my the one who found me
Who lifted me up and showed me a purity within me
