I run till I fight to breathe this polluted air
I see myself in the dust and hear a new voice a whisper for who I am to be
I am the mortal creation of an immortal concept
See me stand in the dust and waves of time
For who I am is a girl of flesh and bone
A tiny piece of this mortal coil
Call me what you see me as for I born without a
I find myself on the precipice of the world as it splinters
Turning tomorrow into today and yesterday in to what may never be
I am alive my heart beats till it echoes in the dawn of time
Do you know how to play the game with the tides of time?
It's all in the breath you take for the art of survival
The time it takes for you blink away the dust of the dying world
Could be all that stands between you and dancing up to the sun and stars
Fate and fortune deal the cards you play the game
Never forget that you're the pawn in an idealistic way of being
I'm moving ever closer to letting go of who I never wanted to be
See the flames build around me as the ace of hearts and queen of spades go flying past
One day I'll make it and I'll hear the screams of sorry
Till then... I fall through the darkness
Eyes crying red and as I search for the truth in amongst the lies
One death to become reborn without the scars of time
Spinning to the granite that bears my name and the willow that stands weeping in the moonlight
Let me go let me fall let me find who I am
It's crazy these days at the beginning of the end of the world
