Deep within the darkest part of my mind I see you
You became part of me and I didn't even realise it till now
My heart beats because it feels the love I have for you
My eyes shine brighter because they take in the images you see
My soul binds itself to both Heaven and Hell because it is guided by you
There is a warmth to my smile that was missing before I found you
A piece of me that I never knew I had is now what guides me through my life
You gave me the rhyme to my reason
Opened up my mind to what I was and wanted to be
Gave my voice it's power to be heard
You gave my my sight to see all that is around me
In truth you gave me the very essence of being myself and what that could be
