Ch. 51 - Energized

Jungkook tossed and turned on the bed. Feeling a bit uncomfortable. Turning around to hug Jin, to at least make him fall back to sleep, he was surprised that the side was empty. Alarmed, his eyes shot open immediately. Sitting down on the bed, he found Jin on the couch in their bedroom, rubbing his belly.

"Babe, what's wrong? Why are you there? " Jungkook asked while putting on his gray sweat pants.

Jin did not answer. Jungkook kneeled down and saw Jin's face in a frown. "What's wrong?"

"Baby doesn't want to sleep. I guess she's angry because you keep on waking her up. " Jin said with a pout, almost crying.

Jungkook sighed, "As if I was the one who asked for it. Well, seriously, what are you feeling?"

Jin raised his hips and held on to his tummy. It was obvious that he's in pain.

"Wait, is it contracting? Since when? " Jungkook began to panic. He grabbed the car key and started to pull out the baby bag and a big bag.

"Since last night. But it will come and go. Now I'm okay, but after 5 minutes, it will get painful again."

"Shit, shit, shit. That's it. Why didn't you wake me up?! Oh my God, Jin. You should have woke me up."

Jungkook took the shirt on the floor and wore it. He then gets a cardigan and put it on Jin. "We will go to the hospital now. I'll just call your mom on our way."

After loading all the bags and ensuring Jin's seat belt was securely fastened, Jungkook took the driver seat and sped off.

"Are you angry at me, Kookoo? I'm sorry. I thought I just want to poop. I didn't know. The doctor said I am due next week."

"She said anytime until next week."

"I'm sorry."

Jungkook sighed and held Jin's hand, "I'm not angry. I'm just nervous. I'm sorry if I sounded angry. Relax now, we're near the hospital."

Jin then jerked in his seat as he tried to feel something. Slowly, he looked at Jungkook whose eyes were still fixed on the road.

"Kookoo?"

"Yes, baby? Is it painful?"

Jin swallowed, "Please don't get mad at me? But, I think I peed in my shorts?"

Jungkook's eyes widened as he looked at Jin's thighs. The shirt covering it was wet and Jin kept on raising his hips. Good thing, Jungkook could see the hospital already.

"Shit... your water bag broke." Jungkook whispered as he drove into the hospital's driveway.

Jungkook kept on walking back and forth in the hallway as he waited for some news. He never felt so nervous in his life.

"Jungkook, I'm sorry. We're late. How is he? How long has he been inside? " Mrs. Min looked anxious as she arrived in the hospital with Yoongi.

But before Jungkook could answer, Jimin also came with Namjoon. "Kook, how is he? Where's the b-ba-by?"

Jungkook was both nervous and confused. He didn't know whom to answer first, but he noticed how Jimin's face turned horrified.

"Uh, Jin is still inside. Almost an hour now. I'm sorry. Jin sent me into panic earlier. I'm just really nervous," Jungkook admitted to Mrs. Min while trying to figure out the signs Jimin was telling him. "What? Please, Jimin, not now."

Jimin rolled his eyes and pointed down to Jungkook's middle, "Well, I can tell you're in a panic. You forgot to wear your underwear."

Jungkook looked down and his eyes widened. Indeed, he forgot. And much more to his embarrassment, he was wearing gray sweat pants. He rushed in the Suite that he reserved as he realized why the nurses and staffs were looking at him differently earlier.
