Chapter 65

Perrie's POV:

I was sitting on the couch for hours waiting for Beth. I was going insane.

Her expression before she ran out was one I've never seen before. It scared me.

She had a plan. She isn't going to come back. I know my gut is right. It proved to be the last time I thought there was something wrong with Beth's health.

What am I meant to do? I didn't even tell the girls yet.

I decided to just tell them now.

Ringing them with a group facetime I was anxious. Jesy knows about the drugs. But Jade and Leigh don't.

"What's up?" Said Leigh after they all picked up.

"Uh well..." I trailed off anxiety creeping up.

She left me here and my anxiety was acting up.

"What's wrong bubs?" Asked Jade.

"Leigh come pick me and Jade up. We'll come to you Pez." Jesy said.

Leigh and Jade frowned but nodded and they hung up.

Jesy knew what was up.

I tried breathing exercises to calm myself down.

I need her. But she won't come back. She won't even pick up.

Alright... inhale, exhale. I should have answered her. I was too lost in thought.

She won't leave me forever. She will come back.

She will come back.

My breathing quickened and I panicked even more.

Come on. In, out.

I managed to at least not have a complete attack.

The door bell rang and I practically ran to the door. I'm not alone. I'm fine.

As soon as the girls saw my appearance they hugged me and calmed me down further.

After I finally managed to calm down, we sat down in the living room.

"So... Jesy didn't tell us anything. What's up?" Jade asked.

"Beth took Xanax." I said.

Both of them frowned and googled it.

"Fucking idiot." Jade whispered.

Leigh was in shock.

"When... how?" Leigh trailed off.

So I recounted everything and Jesy jumped in explaining how she found out.

"So where is she now?" Jade asked.

"Well, she said she'd understand if I wanted to leave her. After she told me I was still in shock and didn't answer her for a bit. She took my silence as a yes and left. She won't call back ever since. And I have a feeling she isn't coming back." I said with a shaky voice.

The girls all absorbed the information and my phone rang.

I jumped up like a madwoman. I looked and the Caller ID was...

"Sam...?" I mumbled to myself.

I swiped to accept and put her on speaker.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey Perrie." Said Sam.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Beth texted me. Her message stirred up some questions and I'm worried." She said.
