As Emma started the car and began to drive, Regina rolled her eyes.
"What?" Emma demanded.
"You're not serious, right?" Regina said, exasperated, "You just found out that he's your true love and you don't do so much as kiss him? You may be shocked, but you're the only one. We all knew it was coming and we all accept it, so why can't you?"
"Regina-"
"No, I'm not done. You're lucky enough to actually have him right there, in front of you and you do what? Tell him you need time? Back off, when he's spent the past two years trying to get you to open up? You've both been so happy lately and now that you finally know this is real, you freak out and run away?"
Emma knew she should ignore it, but Regina had a point. Her and Killian had become good friends lately. They understood each other's will to be better people. He must have told her how happy Emma made him.
"It just doesn't make sense to me, Ms. Swan, that's all," she added.
"I told him I love him okay?!?" Emma snapped.
"You should've shown him," Regina said.
It was going to be a long few days.

After a long two days, Killian got another text from Emma.
"Be home in ten minutes. Meet you outside Granny's?"
"We'll be there" he replied.
Ten minutes later, Killian was waiting outside Granny's, along with Henry and Emma's parents, who Regina had texted.
Emma's car pulled up first, followed by a a van, to Killian and Henry's surprise.
David walked up to the bug, opened the back door and pulled out a woman... Zelena, Killian realized.
Wait, what? How the bloody hell was the witch still alive?
He looked around in confusion as Regina got out of the larger car with Robin Hood and his boy.
Regina stormed over to Zelena and David. Her and David pulled Zelena toward the sheriff's station.
Killian was officially very confused.
Emma then got out of her car.
She ran right to Henry, hugging him tightly.
Then she all but pounced on Killian, holding on to him for dear life, her head buried snugly in his shoulder, her arms around the back of his neck.
Killian smiled and hugged her back.
"I missed you," she whispered in his ear, "So much."
"I missed you too," he replied as she pulled away slightly to look at her.
Then, a dark-haired woman came out of Emma's car and approached the couple.
"Killian, this is Lily. She's... She's an old friend. She's also Maleficent's daughter,"
Lily shook Killian's hand, his hooked arm still around Emma's waist.
"Nice catch, I must say Emma," the woman laughed, gesturing to Killian.
Emma smiled and turned in Killian's arms to look at him.
"I know," she said pecking his lips quickly.
As Lily approached the recently redeemed Maleficent, Killian looked down tenderly at Emma.
"Swan, what's going on?" He asked.
"About Lily or Zelena?" She asked with a small but proud smile.
"Both...?"
"Later. Right now, I'd rather spend time with my true love," she smiled up at him again.
"That," Killian touched his nose to her's, "Is completely fine by me, my love,"
Emma laughed, genuinely happy again.
Emma took Killian's hand and lead him over to her mother.
She smiled at her sadly.
"Hey," she said, briefly releasing Killian's hand to hug her mother for the first time in weeks.
"Hey," Snow said as Emma walked toward the station.
Killian wrapped his hooked arm around Emma's waist as he accompanied her.

"Well, our trip led us to Lily, who, turns out, knows nothing about the author but we quickly figured out that she was Maleficent's daughter. She and I met when I was about thirteen after I'd escaped foster care. That led me to meeting Ingrid, but that isn't the point. We actually accidentally ran into Robin on out way back when Regina decided she needed a drink. Robin was in the bar. He said Marian had been acting odd lately. We found her playing with Roland at a park, but as soon as she saw Regina and I, she got nervous. We'd already figured out that magic worked to an extent in New York, so Regina hit her with something and the next thing we knew, she was Zelena. Turns out she was never actually Marian. We brought Zelena back, apparently. It was part of her plan to ruin Regina's happiness," Emma explained later at the diner as her and Killian sat at a booth and watched everyone.
"Sounds like a great drive home," Killian remarked.
"Yeah, she wouldn't shut up! Every three seconds, 'I told you so' 'If it weren't for me, you would have never kissed him again' 'I expect a wedding invitation' 'You're welcome' I guess Regina told her," Emma sighed, shaking her head.
"About that," Killian said, "you're okay with it?"
"At first, no. I was terrified. But now... I am. I love you. And nothing has to change just because now we know we're true love. We're still us," she said.
"Good," Killian said, leaning across the table to capture her lips in his own, "because I love you too."
(Little did they know that David had brought a now powerless Zelena to the diner to speak with her sister and she was now watching them kiss with a satisfied smile on her face. She'd been rooting for them since the beginning.)
