So this was really emotional to write and I think it's because I miss them being happy and I still can't cope with dark anyone so fluff fluff fluff. It may get a sequel if you guys want...

They didn't go to Granny's the night they got back. It was just so late and no one really had the energy to deal with the dwarves anyway, so everyone piled into Emma's home and turned on the television, though no one really payed any attention to it.
Regina and Robin sat together at the kitchen table, deep in conversation with Henry about who knew what.
Snow was cooking something on the stove, as David held Neal and conversed with him in the language only babies could understand.
Gold had gone home to check on Belle, but had told Killian he'd like to have a word the next time they saw each other.
Emma found herself laying down on the couch, her head in Killian's lap as he threaded his fingers though her blonde curls gently. She traced letters onto his legs, occasionally spelling out words.
I love you.
I'm sorry.
Welcome home.
Forgive me.
We did it.
She thinks he must have known at least some of what she wrote, because he takes her hand and presses a firm kiss to her palm.
It's not long before she is asleep and Snow comes over to cover her with a blanket.
Snow sits beside Killian and places her hand on his leg, her motherly instincts beginning to show. "You should get some sleep," she says.
"I don't want to wake her, she's not slept in weeks," Killian shook his head.
"Neither have you, Killian," David says from the kitchen.
Killian just sighs and runs his thumb over Emma's soft cheek. She looks so peaceful like this, like all the stress, sadness and lack of sleep the past few months have melted off of her.
"I didn't think I'd ever get this. To be here with her, my feelings reciprocated. To have people who care enough about me to bring me back from hell itself..."
Regina, the least likely to speak, smiled ever so slightly. "She fought so hard to get you back, Hook," she said, "She can't live without you. She loves you so much. She gave us no choice but to follow her when she dove into that portal to hell. And besides, you're family. Apparently this one doesn't let anyone stay dead."
Killian looked at Regina in awe, speechless. "Oh, don't look at me like that. She told me how she felt about you before she even told you. I saw her feelings for you before she could. It's about time you realize that you have a family," she said and now even Henry, Robin and David were looking at her, confused, yet proud.
"What?" Regina asked.
"Hope and love speeches from Queen Pessimism aren't something you hear every day, that's all," Killian regained his composure.
Regina simply rolled her eyes, muttering something about yearning looks and making eyes.
"Come on, you two should head upstairs. Henry will lock up, he said he wants to stay here tonight," Snow promises.
Killian opens his mouth to protest, but between Emma's mother's firm stare, Henry's assuring smile across the room, and Killian's overwhelming exhaustion, he can't find it in himself to argue.
David was right. It had been over a month since he'd slept. He'd also just spent a week in the Underworld, dead.
Killian takes a deep breath to bring himself back to the present before the memories can take him, and he cradles Emma's head as he rises.
He thanks Mary Margaret, David, Regina, Robin and Henry for everything they've done, once again, before picking Emma up and carrying her upstairs.
When he reached her room... Their room... He placed her on the bed.
She opened her eyes and smile up at him. "Hey," she whispered.
"You told Regina before you told me?" Was his response. He'd known she'd been awake for that.
Emma bust into a fit of giggles. "I love you," she laughed.
"Yes, that!" Killian said, "You told her that," he complained playfully.
Emma smiled, shaking her head. "I was scared to tell you and I wanted to say it the right way. She just happened to offer to help me figure out how to tell you."
Killian smiled, laying down next to her, lacing their fingers between them.
"Yeah? And how did you plan to tell me?"
Emma kissed him. "Date on the ship. Hug you while steering. Whisper it in you ear. Probably start crying," she said against his lips, smiling.
"Ah, Swan, that lacks the action and drama that it ended up being," Killian joked.
"I know. Too much drama," she yawned, "Too much darkness. Too many dead people and trips to hell," Emma snuggled into Killian's chest.
"Agreed, my love, agreed."
"Too little sleep," she continued, beginning to drift off.
Killian chuckled and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight, Emma," he whispered.
"Love you," she mumbled into his shoulder.
"I love you too, Emma. Forever." He replied before he too fell into a long and peaceful slumber.
