Captain Swan One Shots

Morning, Love

Merry Christmas!!! This one takes place a few years in the future, when Emma and Killian are married! It's Christmas morning, Liam's first Christmas... Because he was born the night before! We get to see everyone meet Liam, one of the town's first normal Christmases, and just love and fluff all around!

Emma awoke to bright hospital lights. Killian was sitting in a chair across the room and there was a bassinet beside her bed, holding a tiny newborn infant, sleeping soundly.

As if he sensed her waking up, Killian's eyes shot opened. He rushed over to her.

"You okay?" He asked.

She smiled. "Yes," she said with absolute certainty.

He sighed with relief.

"Has Liam woken up?" She asked.

Killian shook his head. "No, he seems to be a very good sleeper."

Emma smiled down at her son.

"Merry Christmas, Emma," Killian whispered to her, placing a cheek to her temple and lifting Liam out of the cot. He placed the little boy in Emma's arms.

Emma looked down adoringly at her son.

"Killian, we have a kid..." She said in disbelief.

Killian nodded. "Aye, I'm still not sure I'm not dreaming, to be perfectly honest."

Emma giggled, looking down, once more at Liam, who had started to stir.

"Well, I can tell you the nine hours of labour sure as hell were real," Emma laughed.

"I love you," Killian said, sitting down and stroking Liam's soft head.

Just then, Henry burst into the room, balloons and multiple wrapped boxes balanced in his arms.

"Mom!" He ran to hug her.

"Hey, kid! Merry Christmas!"

The sixteen-year-old smiled. For a teenager, he was quite level-headed and still gave his family hugs, to everyone's joy.

"Wanna meet your brother?" She said as her parents entered the room, along with her brother.

Henry nodded eagerly and Emma placed the baby in his arms.

"Emma!" Neal said, running up to her.

"Hey, buddy! What's up?"

"Mommy and Daddy got you a-"

"Okay, Neal," David scooped up the three-year-old, stopping him from spoiling the surprise that David and Mary Margaret had planned for Emma.

Emma's parents each took their turn saying their congratulations to her and Killian before bringing in the gifts they'd brought.

"We figured we could have Christmas here..." Henry smiled as he walked over to get the ones from him.

"Mom, Killian, Liam," he handed the boxes out, Liam's of course, to Emma.

Emma hugged Henry before opening her's.

"Mom, you're supposed to open it, then hug me," Henry joked.

Emma laughed and tore open the wrapping. It was a red t-shirt with... "Henry!" Emma cried, throwing the short at him.

The shirt had a picture of the animated Disney Captain Hook that said "I'm Hook's Captain" on it.

"How did you even find that?!?" Mary Margaret laughed as she picked it up.

"I have my ways... And Regina thought it was funny so she used magic to make it..." Henry chuckled.

Snow handed it to Killian who laughed and folded it again. "It's quite true, might I say?"

"I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT!" David cried.

Everyone laughed, and continued to open gifts and enjoy each other's company.

It was late afternoon by the time Emma and Killian had some time to themselves. Emma was preparing her things to leave the hospital while Killian held Liam and babbled along with him.

"He's beautiful, isn't he?" Emma smiled, walking over to her two boys.

"Aye. That he is... That he is," Killian said, wrapping an arm around Emma's shoulder.

He handed the baby to her.

"I love you," Killian whispered.

"Love you too. Merry Christmas, Killian. Merry Christmas, Liam," she said, happier than she'd been in a long time.

Okay, so I'm super sorry this is late! My family surprised me with a two day vacation without Internet access (not my kind of vacation, tbh lol) and I'm just getting this up now!
