This one's for TheOncerGamer who asked for dark Emma being lonely and wanting Killian to be like her and them becoming a dark duo.

I changed it up a bit, but I hope this is still kind of what you wanted! It got kind of angsty because it was probably a bad idea to listen to Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance for an hour while I wrote this (for my sake and yours) but oh well. Thanks for the prompt! This one was pretty fun!

For the longest time, Emma was lonely. Most of her childhood consisted of staying with families she hated for a few weeks, months at most, then being rejected and sent off to the newest foster home, where the process repeated itself until she was old enough to escape it.

That being said, she should be used to this feeling of loneliness, except in the past few months, she'd grown accustomed to the constant support and company of Killian Jones.

After becoming the Dark One, she was lonely again. But this time, she had the power to get the company she so desired. And she knew just how to do it.

In the month she'd been the Dark One, alone in the palace she had built with magic in Camelot, she'd done some research on other kinds of monsters that existed in her messed up reality.

So far, she'd come across werewolves, zombies, talking animals (come on) and her personal favourite, vampires.

If there was any sure way to get Killian to join her and be loyal forever, it was to turn him into one of those chaotic, bloodthirsty beings. And she intended on joining him.

Emma quickly decided that this was a perfect idea and set out to find one of these elusive monsters.

Luckily it didn't take long and after a short two days of searching, she came across a very tame, yet old and powerful vampire. Of course, it wasn't hard to convince her new friend, Edna to turn her into a vampire. Who could pass up a free meal?

To Emma's surprise and delight, the process didn't take too long. The bite, while painful, wasn't unbearable (perhaps she'd read too much Twilight in her twenties) and aside from the fact that she could actually feel the blood being drained from her body, it wasn't such an awful experience.

Edna told her before changing her that she'd have learn how to change Killian so she didn't kill him. Emma agreed, and within minutes of being transformed, she understood why. As soon as all the human blood was drained from her body and replaced with Edna's venom, Emma felt an insatiable thirst.

Edna explained that Emma would need to concentrate on Killian. She'd need to focus on making sure she actually turned him, not just drank his blood. (Which sounded absolutely divine at the moment...)

Emma waited two days before creating a portal back to Storybrooke.

She got there sometime in the middle of the night, thankfully, and made her way to the Jolly Roger and the docks, where she assumed her target would be.

She was able to magically appear below deck without waking him up. Carefully, Emma sat beside him and gently brushed some hair out of his closed eyes. He looked so peaceful sleeping, younger and happier. Emma had a brief flash of conscience, but shook it off.

She kissed his forehead, waking him up. He smelled delicious.

"Emma?" Killian sat up immediately, his hand flying to cup her cheek.

"Hey," Emma said simply.

For a moment, the two were lost in each other's eyes. Suddenly, Emma surged forward and pressed her lips to his. Hard. Soon enough, she had Killian pinned to his bed on his back and took that opportunity to trail kisses along his neck.

Unsuspecting, Killian didn't fight back until it was too late. Emma had already started feeding and nothing stopped a vampire from their meal. Killian was shocked, but terrified and so he did nothing, allowing Emma to drain the blood from his body, until there was nothing left.

In his last moment as a human, he uttered three simple words that he'd been intending on telling her since the moment she first kissed him in the jungle in Neverland.

"I love you"

And as light turned to dark, as good turned to bad, as happiness turned to loathing and anger, that one thing remained the same. In any form, in any time, in any realm, Killian Jones would always be in love with Emma Swan.

That's was why it was so simple to open his eyes and give Emma a satisfied smirk once any bit of human blood was gone, why loving her was still so easy even after he'd been turned into a chaotic, evil monster. She was still Emma and he was still Killian and even if their personalities had changed, they'd changed together. True Love did that. It never wavered.

Killian soon discovered that time went by quickly when you had forever. Soon enough, they stopped checking on Storybrooke. It didn't matter now that they had each other.

He wasn't sure how long exactly it had been before Emma insisted they have children, but when it happened, their twins Liam and Eva were raised to be just like their parents, their little prince and princess of darkness.

Neither Emma nor Killian ever knew what became of their family back home. They'd built a new one. After hundreds of years, it didn't matter anyway.

What once could have been a perfect tale of light overcoming darkness, the princess falling for the pirate, good stopping evil forever was changed in an instant.

There would be no happy ending for their story. There would be no sappy wedding, no loving speech. They didn't need that. Dark falling for dark and creating more darkness was all Emma and Killian needed. It was all they'd ever need.

It was all that mattered.
