It wasn't until the next morning, when Killian was explaining to Emma's parents and Henry what had happened, that he realized he didn't know where in New York Emma actually was.

Luckily, Henry figured she'd be in their old apartment, or maybe Neal's apartment.

The five of them, Henry, Snow, Charming, baby Neal and Killian, left after breakfast that morning for New York.

After a long several hours, they finally arrived at Emma and Henry's old apartment in New York.

Before Killian and Snow even tried to pick the lock on the front gate, Emma came crashing through them, into Killian's unsuspecting arms.

"Killian!" She said into his shoulder.

"Hi," he replied in awe, his eyes burning from unshed tears.

Killian rubbed Emma's back soothingly and smiled as she briefly broke away to hug her family, before returning to Killian's arms.

"We should go inside. We can talk there," Emma said.

They all followed her inside.

"Hot chocolate, anyone?" She asked, walking into the kitchen.

Henry ran straight to the television and knelt down in front of it. "My xbox!!!" He exclaimed happily. Killian hadn't a clue what that was.

He saw Emma chuckle.

As Emma's parents made themselves comfortable, waiting for their hot chocolate, Killian approached Emma and hugged her from behind, leaning his chin on her shoulder and placing a light peck on the side of her head.

Emma smiled and turned around in his arms.

"Hey," she said softly, stroking his arm.

"I missed you, Swan," Killian said, leaning down for a kiss.

"Don't. Not yet, okay?" She pleaded, dodging him, "I decided to come back to Storybrooke with you. I miss you all too much to stay here and I think we can break the curse by..." She trailed off, gesturing between them.

Killian nodded in understanding, settling for a hug instead. "Thank you for coming back," he whispered softly.

Emma leaned into him more.

"When we cross this line, promise me you won't stop kissing me, no matter what I try to do, okay?" Emma had stopped the car just outside the town line, as her parents had driven over with the scroll in the truck.

"I wouldn't dream of it, Swan," Killian promised.

When the scroll was thrown over the line, Killian got out of the car to pick it up.

"Ready, Swan?" He asked once he returned.

Emma nodded, grasped Killian's hand tightly and slowly drove over the line.

Emma hit the brakes quickly as soon as she saw her parents standing by the truck. She turned to Killian before the magic could take hold of her and pulled him to her by the lapels of his jacket.

Killian felt Emma struggle not to separate from him at first but then, just as a gust of wind blew through his hair she melted into him, both hands cupping his cheeks, pulling his face as close to her's as possible.

Neither of them were sure how long they stayed there in their little bubble of bliss, but their moment was interrupted when David knocked on the driver's window.

Killian sighed, but Emma just grinned at him and locked the doors, leaning in for another kiss. Ignoring David's groans outside.

"I love you, Swan," Killian said against her lips.

"Love you too, pirate," she said, kissing his yet again.
